any one else TRYING to grow in dirt?

only reason i am is because im broke and a buddy gave me like 20 booooom seeds...

so i planted 1, the rest and going to be like normal.



It kinda makes me :spew: to grow in dirt but fuck it its already planted...

Lots of people on here use soil for grows. If you want this to succeed then you should post more info. If you are just using dirt from the backyard you may want to consider upgrading at some point....

BUT! this time i just wanted to see if one would grow inn dirt...{from a rose bush in frount yeard}

what i got for first stages...

Plastic pot{with holes}, 1 seed per pot, planter covered, water filed,

It's a lil muddy and i got some gravel at the bottom for drainage...

I think it should grow {i hope}.

Got any tip's that can help me alot this struggle?

i wanna get outside but the weather is fucking me, it just snowed 2 inches today, looks like its gonna be a little longer till i can transplant:cry:

Sorry I mis-understood... thought you were just newbin it up.

Will be interested to see what happens... I guess if you have roses growing then the 'dirt' is probably decent. Track the progress... be a nice comparison to real soil mixes.

I used soil dug up from my front yard, near a creek (mostly clay and organics) mixed with some peat and the plants really liked it.

Um, For that acid problem...

I'd say bring your ph levels down a lil till acid clears up...

And thats not the beast idea but it might work...
