Any opinion on this new Cirrus 10 COB light - 1000 watt?

by saying "New Driver-Less Technology" do they mean that each cob has a onboard AC-DC conv?

So, anyone have any updated information on how these have performed for them? Anyone that had them from a few years ago still using them? I can get them at a ridiculously cheap price, so I'm very curious to know. I'm running a room using 256 luminous cxms @68 watts each and looking to upgrade (though I'm not under any illusions this would be an upgrade, but the thought of adding UV, far red, and IR to the mix is highly intriguing to say the least). The serious contenders are Thinkgrow-W, chilled growcraft X-6s, and the nanolux ledex 6 bar unit, but for the stupidly low price I can pick up these cirrus for, new in the box, is nigh impossible to pass on, even if I only get a single cycle out of them.

I stopped using it during the summer of '18, collecting dust since switching to a DIY with Samsung Q strips.

any issues with it? noticable flaws? I'm guessing it wasn't the "game changer" they were touting it as, considering their grow light division was recently liquidated, but were you able to pull any nice grows with it, comparative to what your using now?

To be fair, we did use that light to grow something that was selected in a competition as having the highest quantity of terpenes. So there's that. But then we had to move and downsize the grow. Not being dimmable, this light put out too much heat for our tent, so I went DIY. We haven't use it many times, probably less than 5 grows.
It's heavy, with a very focused beam, and puts out a ton of heat. There's better out there.

I figured that would be the case, regarding heat and it looks like it generates hot spots with some pretty uneven light distribution. Brand new, still in the box units were/are being sold at $65 each direct from their headquarters in Portsmouth NH. I ended up just buying 24 of the Thinkgrow-Ws instead.
