Hey everyone,

I am trying to find a good ac unit for 4x4-5x5 room that will be sealed up if i can get the temps right. Looking for ideas on window units or the dual hose setups, and results!

Running 1000w air cooled light. still hitting 90 degrees.

Thanks.

I tried searching but no results for AC? maybe too short search term..

I have a A/C unit right outside my tent, it shoots cold air into the fan. idk if that helps you, but my temps were in the hight 80's, its now in the high 70's. good luck to you.

I use my central air for my flower room and tent and a portable unit for my veg closet thats vented out of the roof. blocked off the ducting for the central air to other parts of the house and have a portable ac for me. there is a big a/c unit on my roof so it might look funny to get a window setup where my grow is, it faces the street. When it gets really hot it takes about 2min run ducting from the central air to my hoods, otherwise it's too cold. only have only a/c pictures I have is ducting coming from the ceiling but you know what that looks like.

how much air intake do you have, what cfm fan and how is it exhausted right now? sounds like it might just be and air movement issue or exhaust issue that can be fixed with out a/c. I never have to turn the a/c on to my 4x4 tent with a 1000 in it. the fan draws enough air over the light and the intake fan blows enough air in to create just a tiny bit of vacuum in the tent, so there is LOTS of air flow instead of a/c. PIC's of your setup and it might be just something you need to adjust!

i tore down my setup and in the process of doing the 5x5 tent in the same bedroom as my veg closet. I have a 424cfm 6" inline fan, growbright; and an easy cool6 hood. I can purchase more ducting if needed. I just have a hard time finding a place to dump the air. its a 2 story townhome and this is on the bottom floor right outside my front door.. you literally have to walk within 6 in of window to get to my door :) the door of the bedroom is right by the front door so i cant really ehaust out the door.. i am starting to think ceiling is my ONLY option..
