Any pics of Mold out there??

Hey. I am in my 4th day of drying the stalks upside-down. I have a humidifier near a fan that helps bring up the humidity levels in the small room (normal humidity here is 32% - dry climate). With the humidifier it is a steady 46-56%. I noticed the black tupperware bin that the trimmings/leaves that were drying in had an ultra-thin white powdery film on it. I wiped it with my finger and it smelled slightly moldy. It seemed to only affect low lying objects in the small room.

Is 56% humidity too high?

All the trimmings have a dusty unsavory smell to them now (was going to make some brownies from those - Fuck!). The hanging buds above dont smell bad at all. I think the goddamn mist that floats through the air lands on everything making a mold develop.

I have searched the forums for info regarding mold (which there are many entries) but none of them have a decent pic of this shitty phenomenon. Please post some (good)pics of what mold actually looks like so I can finally see some. I bought 2 cheap ass microscopes - 1 from RadioJack - and another from the MeBay and I think they both suck. I cant tell what the fuck I am looking at. Somebody please assist..

Thank you in advance.

yeh, for a growing plant humidity should be ok at 56%

but thats way too high for drying buds. for drying humidity should be round 20%, otherwise theyll go mouldy.

Hmmm.. the last stems I dried about 2 weeks ago dried way too fast, and the humidity was only 35%.

They were very harsh on the throat @ 2 days of drying upside down, the stems were snapping after only 2 days. Could 2 days possibly be enough?

Well I just got mold on my plants with some pics on my thread. From what it sounds like you are keeping the bud in the container to long when curing it. How long do you keep them in the container before opening them to breath?
