Any recommendations for a pH tester?

I have an apera and it's about run it's course. Looking to get something else but open to suggestions before I start reading up on things.

Litmus strips are fine for me I grow in soil have a bluelab ppm pen. Bought a cheap HM pen when I first started, it works decent for the money if you want a pen

I have an Apera too, works great but PH pens die rather quickly unless you get a bluelab. I'll be getting one as soon as my current pen dies. I also always keep ph test kits around as a backup or to double check results that seem off. I have a hard time with seeing the difference between colors in the Hydrofarm kit, but the Sera PH test kit is super obvious and easy to read-little more expensive though.

I got tired of the GH drops. They suck if you run multiple reservoirs and if you do a morning, afternoon and evening test, it adds up over the years. I bought a Bluelab Combo Meter off Amazon for a little over $200 recently. The Bluelab pens are $110 anyway, so for another $100 you get PPM/EC and the same replaceable PH probe as the Guardian. It’s battery powered, which I really like. I leave it in a res for storage and pull it out 3-4 times a day to do my checks.
