In my search for knowledge recently started I looked at growweedeasy a lot. I also looked at thcfarmer, and grasscity forums before coming here. I stuck around here because I believe they have an active helpful knowlege base, and lots of newbs getting help and helping each other.
Really all your answers are here. But you have to have some base knowledge to sort thru the bs that comes with any forum.
As luckyluke kinda said, theres so many aspects to growing that you don't really know what you need to know, until you need to know it.
Read some grow journals here, and the newbie section, and get familiar with terminology and different grow styles. Then use the search function and you'll find almost every question already answered.
Welcome from a fellow newb.

growweedeasy.com read it, try it ,ask specific questions here (take answers with grain of salt), even top notch experienced growers will disagree on somethings so find your path.
warning you will have problems maybe bugs or mold or nutes issues, etc. but this is where you will learn the most.

advice start simple, start small, grow that bag seed before your expensive seeds. get just your base nutes (usually micro, grow, bloom) leave out all that other stuff unless you need it.

I learned what works well from Jorge Cervantes
I learned why it works well from Ed Rosenthal
either one will answer every question. My
plants were never happy until I stopped following internet advice
too many growing variables to help. you wont need a deficiency chart either.
unless you're still in the woods. kitchen items belong in the kitchen
begin with quality nutrients/habits and controls for no issues.

this is the best I can share for a brother beginner

It's really not that difficult. The most important thing is to get your grow environment setup correctly.. Lights, ventilation, temps, etc.. After a few grows it becomes really simple. I think it's human nature to overthink it. Start with getting your grow environment right and the rest falls into place..

I like videos rather than reading... Grow420guide on youtube has some good vids..

Great advice! Especially with the nutes! I waisted a lot of money on shit I didn't need.

I have problems with your post.

SO many people come in here and have or are attempting to grow. They have a problem and ask for help. The problem comes from those who want us to hold their hand and walk them through the whole damn grow. These folks see a problem in a seedling throwing it's first leaves "What are these, and what's wrong with my plant?"

How many "stupid" (or simple) questions could have been answered by simply having read a book or 2 and knowing ahead of time!

How about that some of those books will teach you how to design and set up a quality growing area. That alone can cure or prevent a shit ton of problems down the road.. How about that it's easier to learn detailed things on growing by learning why you do something, or why the plant does something. You get far more and in far more depth from a book. Then from some unknown schlub, playing grow expert....

Find me a YT video that teach's the advanced agronomy used in the formulation of micro nutrient supplements that can be used to increase THC, or CBD in the end product!

Would you like to actually learn that? Go read Mel Frank's books! He opened the door to this practice, and while his initial formulations have been refined and improved. Without his books, we would never have known where to even start....

Video's are blurbs of basic info. Supplied by questionable (at best) source's. I've been directed to plenty and impressed by only a select few. Those were from writers of those books....

What next? Fucking, growing comics for the mentally challenged? Lots of pictures and a crayon to write notes with... No, WAIT! Growing video comic's! Better yet, Anime growing video comic's from Japan, on YT!

READ THE BOOKS! Actually learn things....
