i was told that if you brought your water down to ph of 3.0 you could then spray it on your plants to kill bugs and powdery mildew. how about for bud rot?

its hard to keep my humidity down and i'm finding bud rot. we're in norcal and it's rainy season, so humidity is a problem...even indoors.

any ideas on how to stop bud rot?

thanks for answering and happy holidays!:weed:

You can cut off fan leaves to help move air through the buds. I am from the area and I use this product that I bought at Ace hardware. Its called damp rid. It pulls moisture out of the air. You can also turn your temps down around 60 degrees. That will stop the mold from spreading and growing. Increase ventilation so the spores have a hard time settling on your plants. Any buds that have signs of bud rot should be cut from the plant so the mold does not spread.

A pH of 3 is very acidic and would not be good on your plant. There are better ways to kill bugs and powdery mildew. Try Serenade for mild PM problems. Serenade will keep it under control long enough to get a harvest off. If you have serious PM problems try Eagle 20. It is a highly concentrated spray for PM. Then there is Sulfur Vaporizers which coat the plant with sulfur thus changes the pH of the leaves to a level where PM cannot root in the stomatas of the plants. Wiping PM with water will rid it. It suffocates the spores and you can just wipe them off. However if you don't get 100% of it like this it will just spread later. This is why wiping with water is not viable. Hope this helped...and bud rot yea pretty fucked on that bruh.
