Yeah zander, I've just finished a run with some 10-15Ltr AirPots...in fact just taking the Root Balls out of Pots now(ROLS)n they do seem to improve Root structure..lots of little white shoots....made it more of a pain to recycle...LOL(worth it though) I used plenty of Perlite & Clay pebble in the Mix and with the AirPots never had a over/under watering problem...though did have to adapt how I watered/Fed plants though ~ can't just tip/pour it on willie nillie...I started doing it in stages(same time) just less ml and in intervals..

300ml Alg - then leave half hr
300ml Grow - then leave half hr

and so on..I find after the first short break the plants uptake of Feed/Water is better and don't piss out of the Holes..

I bought 6 of the 8.4l (3 gal equivalent). Not sure if I should up to the 5 gal equivalent.

Everything I read these pots are awesome! I'm coming from DWC.

I use them and have had good results from them. I like to start my seeds and clones off in the 1L then transplant to the 3L and veg them for a couple weeks. When the roots are filling the holes in the bottom I transplant them to the 20L and finish veg and bloom. Here's a tip - water slowly as water will come out of all the holes in the top of the airpot if you water too hard.

well after what you guys have said they sound great so were going to go pick 20 up an see how we go with them. am going organic using BioBiz nutes range an ALL-MIX soil as well is there anything you guys think i could use as well? :leaf: PEACE

Hey zander definitely do a 80% soil to 20% perlite mix . I ran the 6.5 litre airpots with biobizz all mix the first time and found it still compacted after a while second time I mixed the perlite and it was much better (improved my yield from 1oz per plant to 2oz per plant. Growing same strain autos) also the second time I used them I found that when watering I would wrap cling film or seram wrap (depends where your from) round the pots first to stop the water pissing out the sides obviously remove it once you finish watering. Worked wonders. Air pots are great I'm in coco now and they work fantastic the coco absorbs the water so quickly that it has very little opportunity to leak out. Good luck man. 👽

I know the thread is kind of but I had a question for you. With so much perlite and air pots watering increased. How often did you have to water in veg state and then in flower stage? Answers from any of the posters would be appreciated...
