Anybody use these strip lights for side lighting?

Hm seems like a good idea, especially being only 2 foot, id still use cfls. Smaller, easier to move around/fit into tight spots. Are you doing a large or small grow

Not too big, just a few at a time. I like the idea of running them vertically, one on either side of the plant. And, yeah, at 2 feet long they should pretty much cover the length of the plant, at least all the parts that the overhead doesn't reach.

My friend used these, 6500k during the flowering process with a 400w halide and he had wonderful results! This is definitely a worthy investment for fine tuning the garden.

These 220W (4 x 55w) PL-L fixtures would work MUCH BETTER! Cheaper than T5's yet produce more lumens, supplemental side lighting is the perfect application for these, tried and true producing excellent results, check em out here: (14th & 15th from the top) (-->CLICK HERE<--) You can get bulbs (-->here<--) and on eBay.
