starting friday the 21st it says we got rain here for at least 5 days straight. it doesnt show after those days yet because it is only a 10 day forecast but should i be worried? i was thinkin i should pull the ones that are pretty close to being done because the buds are so mature so their pretty dense already and i just see mold forming after 5 days of rain. im not too worried about the others but i got a couple monsters thats are close but not friday the 21st close. so u think i should pull or just wait it out. and by the way covering them is not an option at this point.

the rain will destroy them if you don't cover them. the weight of the water on them causes branches to break. if you can't cover them, i'd pull them. ;)

ok thanks fdd... what would be ur cutoff tho? like if a plant is 2 weeks away from being done would u pull it or let it go? i only wanna pull the ones that are close enough to where theyd still be a good smoke, i'd rather lose some to the rain than put my name on some premature bud u know?

it's gonna pour. if you don't cover them they will get ruined. it comes down to that. can you cover them?

i think i just might have to try and make some type of cover possible. its just kinda hard cuz my plants are so spread out that i would have to construct either one huge covering or a bunch of individual ones. ill see what i can do tho. what would u suggest covering them with?

you can use that clear plastic they sell for painting. it's a plastic drop cloth type thing. or you can get something heavier. i use the really heavy stuff. you can build frames with PVC tubing. it's cheap, easy, bendable and holds up really well. you can make a tee-pee with 3 or 4 pieces and wrap it in clear plastic. :)

same weather coming up here to redding. I'm thinking about investing in a carport as well even though I was hoping I could make it through this season with out one.

Thankfully I got most of mine harvested during the past ten days or so, still 2 left in the garden, one of which was partially harvested last week. The other isn't quite ready just yet, and had already been pulling itself apart, so I'd built a support system around it a month ago. I let it rain on them, just checking for brakage, luckily there was none.

This morning they are being blow-dried by the industrial fan!
