Hello, Im ordering some new seeds tomorrow from Herbies Head shop and I was looking at the Pineapple express. Anyone ever grown it? Is it worth growing? and if not, would you suggest some other autos from herbies? I was also looking at the Blue mystic, bubblicious, and easy ryder? thanks

Auto-flowering! There isn't an auto-flowering strain in existence that I would recommend, not even to my worst enemy. Well, maybe to my worst enemy, but not to anyone else.

Why would anyone want to purchase a strain that has been watered down with Ruderalis, a type of marijuana that is almost as low in THC as hemp, and that some botanists argue belongs categorized with hemp, when they could purchase a real strain instead?

So they don't even have to know enough to be able to change the settings on their timer? Or if what they want are short plants they don't even have to know enough to either start it off at 12/12 or be able to figure out how long they can veg for before changing their light cycle and still keep it short or can't be bothered with learning things like topping and LST and SCROG etc.?

Or maybe it's because some people have gone all Lady Gaga over autos just because they are the latest gimmick breeders have come up with, just as so many people went all coo coo for cocoa puffs when feminized seeds were the latest gimmick?

Maybe that was true back when both feminized seeds and autos hit the market. I've seen plenty of autos test just as high as photo plants within the local med community. Have you grown autos? The argument that the rudderless traits watering down THC content is ridiculous. If you order the correct genetics you can go as high as 21% THC. There are plenty of growers that have done well with photo plants and switched to autos and still are their to this day. You came into the auto flowering forum to trash autos... nice. If its right for someones situation than that's on them. Obviously they have deemed the option to be best for them, he was not asking if he should grow autos.

Nobody asked your opinion. People have their reasons for growing autos, such as small size and diversity. From the THC contents of recent autos, such as Chronic Ryder for example which is 12-14% THC to the Afghan Kush Ryder which is supposedly around 20% I'd say that autos can yield a good smoke. I'm about to have 19 plants in a 3x3 tent. Autos are showing less Ruderalis traits other than autoflowering nowdays. You are a chode.

you are clearly just trying to get a rise out people with a bullshit post like that. why would you even bother looking in the Auto Flower thread if you hate them so much. i think you forget that some people need meds without an in-depth knowledge of how to grow and autos fill that need and much faster than most photoperiods. so before you go running your mouth, think next time.

I'm not by any means saying chode up there doesn't know his shit, I'm saying that Ruderalis is just a type of cannabis, and can obviously be bred to be more potent. I find them useful for what I'm trying to achieve which is why I chose them. I have a photoperiod plant in the corner of my tent I might take cuttings from in a few months. Everyone's situation is different, it's a matter of opinion, don't be a douche.

Thanks for the replies guys:) I decided to get 5 Barney's pineapple express, 3 Dutch Passion's blueberry auto, and 1 Royal Queen's royal dwarf. They also gave me 1 CH9 Jack 33 Feminised Seed, 2 CH9 Afghani Milk Feminised Seeds, 4 Afghani #1 Seeds for free:)

I just got more Royal Dwarf seeds. Mine stayed relatively short but I kept her in a half gallon. She's almost ready for harvest. I've gotten almost an 1/8th off her already and expect around another quarter. Barney's PE seems to have a couple of phenos or I have a severely stunted one. Little Cheese definitely has multiple phenos, one is fucking huge compared to the other plants. Little my ass.

I've got some auto PE in a jar right now. It's good, better than most autos but there are more potent strains available. I prefer more of a sativa smoke for my headstash but a fellow gardening enthusiast owed me some nuggies and that is what he had ready so a bud in hand is worth two in the ...

edit - this guy also knows what he is doing he treated the plant very well with a full line of FF and Advanced Nutes.

I have one PE drying now and only expect 1/2 ounce off it. My own fault though for using a small pot but it does look tasty

Got 15 grams off a 6 inch pot. Nice bud worked real well. I ordered more but there going in 1 gallons this time.

Joey where do you order your seeds from.

Dude use a 5 gallon pot you can get upwards of 2 oz off autos if you use the right soil nutes and pot size. My friend just pulled 60ish grams off his Barney's PE, took about 70ish days to grow in a 5 gallon pot under 190w of led. Unless space is at a premium maximize your grow with some larger pots. Especially if you're paying for fem seeds!
