Hello, I am upgrading my setup and after alot of thought, i decided to go with a GL60 with 2 Kessil H150's. I just wanted to know what you guys think about the light? It 1 kessil is good for a 2x2 space, but i just wanna add another one to be sure:) My original plan was to get a GL80 with a 250w hps, but i want to be able to grow all year long and i absolutely would not be able to run a 250w in the spring or summer since i live in the desert lol. Money isnt a problem, but size and heat would be if i got the Hps. So im gettin a GL60 which is 2x2x5feet tall. Do you think that would be enough light for 4 lowryder's? All I plan on growing is autoflowering plants for my own personal use. If not 4, than how much do you think it could handle? I believe it is a 35w led, so 2 of those is 70w of led. Any thoughts?

Here is the link for the light:http://www.ebay.com/itm/Kessil-Magenta-H-150-L-E-D-Grow-Light-/140663988194?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item20c03a1fe2#ht_618wt_1270

The problem here is Kessil doesn't tell you the actual wattage of the individual diode...nor tell you how many diodes the light actually has, even on their website...

Also when you try to go to http://www.kessil.com/about/dense_matrix_led.php (which is a link to their "dense Matrix LED" information page...its not there...too many reasons to not trust the lamp ;)

The guy who owns my local hydro store got some 150 and 350's in. We messed around with them and they apear to be pretty powerfull lights. He said he would give me one at pretty much cost to let him know how they worked but they are spendy. I havent taken him up on it because i would need two of them for my 4x2 veg area and am more than happy with T5 lights.

idk about the 150 just the 350 and i think the 350 is 90w.

Don't spend your money on a 90w UFO unless it is from a reputable company. Look in the LED subforum for links to different companies and some grow journals. I think you would be okay with just a single Kessil H350 in a 2x2 space instead of using two H150's. If you decide to go with the H150's then you should get two different spectrum ones, a purple and a magenta, to give a better spectrum mix. Keep in mind that Kessil lights need to be fairly high above the canopy compared to some other brands because of their design so mixing different brands of lights may be difficult or inefficient.

Kessils are the only led I'd consider using.

Check out Grumpy old dreamers mini SCROG with kessils.
2-3 oz per plant, about the same as my small 150 HPS grown Ladies.
