Smart move, from what I've read buying bottled nutrients is for those who don't know how to make a super soil. If you make your own nutrients you know what they are being fed. That alone is a big enough reason. I purchased the Botanicare all organic natural feelings and I've had great results. I plan on making a compost food at a nutrient booster as I've read these are very good. I am a newbie Gardner still but feel your much better off the route you want to take

Cheers

Happy growin

Here is what I'm using now... but plan on doing some version of the raw feeding chart where you don't use the all-in-ones so I can get more control and fine tune... as many of you may know og can be a finicky b**ch, but treat her right and shes a rock star!

SOIL
Rooted clone - 3 weeks ...... 1/2 FF Ocean F. & 1/2 FF Happy F (No added nutrients there is enough in soil for OG) 1gal Air Pots
Week 4 veg - Finish ....... 100% FF Ocean F (15 gal cloth pots)

VEG

Transplant - 1/8tsp per gal Kelp
1/8tsp per gal B-Vitamin

1/4 Humic Acid & 1/8tsp Kelp per gal (every 3rd watering after week 3 veg)
1 tsp per gal RAW GROW (1 feeding towards the end of my veg cycle around week 7 veg)

BLOOM

1tsp RAW BLOOM (every other water until week 3 bloom)
1/8 tsp RAW Phosphorus (every other water until week 3 bloom)

2tsp RAW BLOOM (every other watering week 4 - 6 bloom)
1/8tsp RAW Potassium (every other watering week 4 - 6 bloom)
1/8tsp RAW B-Vitamin (every other watering week 4 - 6 bloom)

FLUSH last 7 days
1/8tsp RAW Cane Molasses
1/8tsp RAW Yucca

Most of the inputs are organic but I still like to flush ... not sure what fox farms charges their soil with...?

Kelp has your vits,,,stop the B-vits and save a bit

Flushing is a myth,,,,,wasting money and your plants time....

True may not need the B-vits but the carrier is mag sulfate so prevents magnesium deficiencies.

As for not flushing... I have not flushed in my hydro system and had buds that sparkle when you light em, also inferior flavor. Prob right with what i'm feeding and being in soil I probably don't need to flush. Must just be an old habit for me, never seems to hurt though and I always lean on the side of caution with my girls.

Here is my Early Flower Bloom Booster recipe...

Early Bloom Booster

1/8 tsp/gal RAW Phosphorus
1/16 tsp/gal RAW Potassium
1/4 tsp/gal RAW OminA (amino acid)

This is what I add to my base bloom formula to help with flower set. The amino acid helps make calcium available, and I find that when my girls have enough calcium I get much less bugs and disease.

I will post my Mid Bloom Recipe in a week or so... :leaf:

and here is my Mid/Late Bloom Booster recipe...

Mid/Late Bloom Booster

1/16 tsp/gal RAW Phosphorus
1/8 tsp/gal RAW Potassium
1/8 tsp/gal RAW B-Vitamins

This is what I add to my base bloom formula to help with hardening and ripening. The B-vits are to help prevent stress and the carrier is mag sulfate. Mag can be a common deficiency during this stage and the sulfur helps increase flavor and terrapins.
