Anyone familiar with Schultz 20-20-20?

I've used it on houseplants and container plants on the patio. They grew just fine. I've never used it for cannabis.

Thanks for the input having trouble getting a picture of the back of the box even on their website ? ..but it's a lot cheaper than Jacks and it claims micronutrients, so I'm guessing someone must have tried growing with it here? ..has decent reviews they all say it dissolves fast but I couldn't find any info with it related to cannabis?

Hard for me to believe no one's tried this?? Although if you search the internet you're not going to find much about it either, I couldn't even find a picture of the back of the box but I bought it

Worst case scenario I use it in my tomates this year best case I stop buying the GH Flora because the price increase is ridiculous, in a month in my Amazon cart it went from $28 and change to just under 35 bucks for the gallon of micro, forget about it

It's coming tomorrow I'll put a picture of the back of the box up here so we can all see what's in it

I had a buddy that used to use it. He wasn't a good grower though. I think a good grower can use just about anything and have decent results, even Miracle Gro. It looks like Megacrop is still a lot cheaper than Schultz though.
Thanks for the input, started with Miracle Grow hydroponically in the 80s but quickly switch to Peter's and then eventually a 2-part called ecogrow and ecobloom, so I agree that just about anything will work in proper amounts

It's just such an inexpensive product for 5 lb so I'm curious how any bargain like that slipped by all these growers without somebody knowing about it?

I'm using it in all my veg plants now & they're fine with it, I've added 1ml cal/mag per gal. but the Dolomites adding that anyway (plus there's so much of it I'm going to use it on my tomatoes in the yard this year too LOL)

Btw I had terrible results with mega crop but read that they've changed it since. I developed the same issues they were talking about from it

Yeah it doesn't have any calcium in it so calmag is probably needed. I say that as someone that thinks calmag is the most overused and unnecessary additive there is. I prefer calcium nitrate as a nitrogen source. It provides all the calcium and nitrogen needed.

When you finish off that Shultz in a couple years you should look at using calcium nitrate, MKP, and a micronutrient blend. That's what I use. It's easy to modify your nutrient solution and is extremely inexpensive. Plus it's all the plant needs for exceptional growth I use VitaGrow. https://www.vitagrow.com/products.php

Yep! Just a little calcium and magnesium and you're good to go.
In what little I did find on here about Schultz I saw you've been using it for years..

I've been using it long enough now that I'm comfortable say it's great! It's very stable and easy to work with and cannabis plants absolutely thrive on it

What was your issue with MC?
I think Greenleaf is a great company, anybody who will send out samples like that forget about it and that they listened to the customer input and made that formula change speaks a lot about Green Leaf as well in my opinion. I'm staying where I am regarding newts but I wish mc all good

I developed magnesium issues and for the first time ever calcium issues as well within two weeks of switching to megacrop under hid's

Sometimes I wonder how.effective it would be to take a nutrient like this,.and soak it into a charged biochar... Surely, you wouldn't want a cannabis plant to have neverending access to 20-20-20 but what about an apple tree or a tomato plant or other Vegetables and fruits you might be growing. .

I used to use shults or other cheap 20-20-20 from the hardware store at ten percent of it's recommended concentration with a liberal amount of mollasses and that combo worked wonders for all plants. , At one tenth the concentration you can use it like five to ten times more often . I would experiment this exact method with cannabis during early vegetation perhaps if I was to consider ever using a mix such as this again.

Back to the biochar idea... I think you can give a lot of land an incredible boost with cheap fertiliser plus kelp and mollasses .. It'll last forever and won't hurt anything or wash out... Permanent fertility. Good for your farm or your forest or your garden, just not specifically good for pot lol.

I think plants can have biochar in their soils too, but the char should be loaded with better weeker nutrients such as a combination of kelp and worm castings and mollasses. Basically only the things that do no matter that they can't get flushed out.
