Anyone from CA ever get bad genetics from the club? How about this idea.

Ive bought some bad strains from the club before. Stuff that didnt yield or had less than average resin content. Its my opinion that clubs should be more particular with the genetics they sell to patients. Even clubs that sell ca.beanbank seeds and clones- they pretty much are a generic brand. I recognised quite a few strains that I have seen grown, for instance ca.bb black domina. Fdd2blk grew some and they looked generic as hell when compared to sensi black domina, which shows long stalked trichomes and bright orange hairs. His looked nothing like it. And Carmel kush Ive heard is just garbage. Thats just a few.
So in order for people to stop getting shitty genetics, I think clubs should always have a cured sample in a jar of the final product that comes from the clones for sale. Patients should know what thier getting. And of course the sample would come with details of how it was grown and such. This would eleminate people buying clones just to flower them and turn out to be not be up to par with thier needs.

Yeah that would be cool, All the clones I have recived from the clubs have seemed to be pretty on par with what I have seen elsewhere.

But I think it would be cool, or have a clone trading party with RIU that way we share are good genetics :)

Interesting idea. I would have liked checking out the final product before purchase. Maybe the conditions it's grown under may make a big enough difference that this wouldn't be a valid comparison?
I do know that I e-mailed Harborside in Oakland about my seeds, both good and bad info. I knew I wouldn't get compensated, but they thanked me for the info and said customer feedback is their best way to decide what not to get in the future.
California Bean Bank has "generic" seeds? I didn't know that. This is the first season in a long time that we have used seeds. We have two strains from CBB, Kali Brains and G13/Hash Plant. I haven't found any KB to compare mine to, but it's an awesome plant. My G13s look comparable to others. Although two of mine are under 6' and one is over 7'. I have no idea why one of the three is a foot and a half taller.

Well, I use the word generic because the beanbank breeds all of those strains then markets them under the same name as dutch breeders. At 10th st. holistic healing in sac they have an extensive collection of beanbank strains most of them between $60-$80, but I guess LA confidential was the most expensive. Why? who knows. Alot of strains I recognised there were bad strains I read not to get. All packaged the same way with different pictures. I have an understanding that beanbank ripped off all of those strain names and sell them as thier own, probably to an unsuspecting patient who expects his beanbank seeds to be the real deal. They're not. But really I dont know for sure. Maby I shouldn't have called them generic.
