anyone grow out sannies chocolate rain?

hey .. i was just wondering if anyone has grown out any of sannies chocolate rain before or has any info on the grows, yeild, potency, smoke report, etc on it.. i had two going awhile ago and they both turned out to be males, so i killed them both.. but my og kush is almost done and i am soaking three of these right now along with sagarmathas strawberry d lite.. was just wondering about the chocolate rains as i don't hear too much about this strain..
any info would be great.. thanks..

o yeah, its dna's chocolope x dj shorts cocoa kush.. it sounds soo yummy to me, but i guess time will tell ....

I got a few going right now, 4 females so far. They are growing kinda tall instead of bushy. E$cobar the breeder said for best results just let them grow natral to form 1 main cola, so thats what I'm doing with these. I hope this really taste's like chocolate! It's been more than a decade since I had some real chocolate thai.

nice grizz dude.. it sounds like you got the more chocolope pheno of the two.. i just checkec out that overgrow link and it sounds like there is two phenos, a taller one that tends to take more after the chocolope and a shorter bushier one that takes after the cocoa kush, with the taller one being the better yeilder..

like with all Escobars gear take it easy with the nutes.

nice.. glad you told me this as im one to usually go a lil heavy on the nutes.. but this being a more sativa plant, i was kinda thinking that it wouldn't like the nutes as much as an indica dom plant would..

I'm gonna start one in about 5 weeks. But only one, i love variety.

Nah I should do 3 chocolate Rains and 3 Vortex and breed them. Knowing I love Vortex and having loved DNA Chocolope from last year, I think this could be a good thing.

How's this grow going? I have one of the tall, lanky phenos 4 weeks into flower now and no doubt its nutrient sensitive as hell.
I have had some clawing and yellowing of leaves.

Just finished one, 3 more in about a week and 4 more about a month after that. The first one finished in 54 day and I got just under 2 zips dry out of a 2 gallon pot. It was the smallest and fluffiest of the first 4 phenos. The all smell very cirtrus/candy like with no chocolate smell at all. The first one smokes really nice but still needs to cure. All I have tested is some of the smaller bottom nuggets. Taste good, little orangy, little kush and some space funk I can't describe. I'm sure it will cure up to be some tasty shit. I would say the buzz is about 50 50 on the indica sativa scale. But it still hasn't been thoroughly tested, the one I smoke this morning got me good an lit for a few hours but nothing overwhelming. I have high hopes for the other phenos, I'm sure out of the 9 girls I'll find something fantastic!

I too just finished a single plant and am 2 weeks into veg on 24 more of them. And, mine too was fruity/berry, no chocolate at all. It had a indica grow pattern, done at 8 weeks. It was good, maybe an 8.5/10 potency wise and lasted a good, long time. But the smell and taste are where this strain shines. It smells great, and is very tasty with a lingering berry bomb. I agree with everything Taco above has said. Esco states the strongest pheno is a mix of both parents but HIS personal favorite is the short, dark chocolate tasting pheno (although it's not the most potent)...... I've read numerous reports of an extreme sativa pheno, very tall and lanky, that is what many people are looking for to obtain the best the strain has to offer.

like the other poster said....be very easy on the nutes man cuz shes picky. just harvested like a wk ago, and all i smell is a bitter chocolate smell that comes from the jars. i would say top them once, and stake them up. they gonna stretch like a bitch. i might get some bud shots in here if dont mind racerboy.

so far from testing choco rain and the sugar punch, i would go with the sugar punch for potency and taste. the reason i say this is because i did one bowl of choco rain first. it hit me quick and tasted good, but when i did a bowl of the SP that shit just elevated me. i felt hot, like if i was over heating or something like for a half hr, and my face felt red. that shit was good.

great strain, I have grown it out many of times. Mine is more on the Chocolope dominate side which growns nice tight spear shaped nugs. I have grown out another pheno that was more on the sativa side that grew fluffy buds that were more fruity then floral like the chocolope dom one.

I ended up with 2 chocolope phenos and a kush pheno and one in between
The in between smeels n taste like hersheys
Overall i give it 8.5 i had heard great thIngs and i like the sativa tyPe high dor morning
Try it with some coffee its def worth a run racerboy
Honestly i liked the pure chocolope better. Never tried cocoa kush tho

Just a quick update with mine, going on 6 weeks in flower..
Still having problems with clawing and yellowing of fan leaves. Cant seem to find her happy spot.
Still lanky as hell with super sugar frosted nugs. Banana smell is becoming very very distinct and strong.

I'm about to start some chocolate Rain soon, I can't get enough of Sannie and Eskos genetics. They are top notch. Does anyone have any idea when Sugar Punch will be restocked? Went to go place an order an noticed it was out??

Got a big tall lanky lady 10 days in flower as we speak. Vegged for longer than I wanted, can tell shes gonna bring the rain here soon.

Here's my 24 babies, less than 3 weeks in since sprouting...... no fertilizer yet.

Does anyone know when Sugar Punch will be restocked at Sannies? I cant get on there board to ask.
