Anyone grow smaller plants, more strains?

My space is small 2 X 2.5 X 7 tall with about a 1000 LED light. Traditionally I squeeze two 5 gallon pots or two large trees. I have adequate light and get a decent yeild for 2 strains. Now considering smaller pots, smaller plants but doubling variety of strains to 4. If I go with 2 gallon pots and do 4 plants, would the plants have adequate light and penetration?

Sorta like scrogging, healthy cuts, aeromist systems and serious weight but numerous short plants with large colas. Most important was the time overall was 70 days...

why do 5 gallon pots ? best to do 1 gallon pots. water every day. also veg them 6 inches tall and top them . total size will be about 18 inches tall in flower that's about 1 ..to 2 zips each plant. and you can squeeze a lot of plants in that small room

Great Light ...Shitty Tiny Tent..!

get bigger tent...easy?
Yes it is a tiny space, but perfect for personal meds. I just like to make sire there is no light shortage. When my funds are right Id like another space for a dedicated veg area. However LED lights have me broke.

I am looking into small one gallon pots. Smaller yeilds but more variety. I think with smaller plants spread out....more light would penetrate deeper into the canopy and around them.

I normally grow 20-40 different kinds currently I got 20 different kinds going I start them in cups and progress to 5 gallon normally 2 month veg not counting 2 weeks from seed right now they are going on 5 weeks and some at 7 weeks from seed I normally have good results some plants just 4-6 oz dried and I've had some that were 15-16 oz wet and 7-8 oz dry it really depends I am currently doing 2 x 600 watts just added the second 600 under 24 of them about 20-22 different kinds and normally grow different brands but I really like barney farm as they crack and have a nice tap root after 3-4 days when most take 2-3 weeks

I would use 3 gal pots (1 gal per month of growth is a good standard) in your situation, and I would use 2 strains that are comparable in size and duration of grow. Plant 3 seeds per strain, take the 2 best and shit can the weakling. The light sounds perfect, just don't jam up the tent, I would go for 4 nice 3' tall plants instead of 6 punks. That's my opinion.

I started in a 2' x 4' tent in a 6 1/2' ceiling.. I managed 7 small plants in 1/2 gal. pots.. when you're running a small closet grow like that, square footage is prime real estate.. don't short change yourself by forgetting about your available vertical space. Get creative. If you're gonna grow more smaller plants, you're not gonna need as much vertical space for flower stretch.. leaving your ceiling space open for use.. narrow shelves, hanging pots, etc.

Ive done only 5 gallons and a few 2 gallons. I was very surprised at how big the 2 gallon potted plants got. Just had to water more often. I am now doing a mix and probably will be doing most of mine in 2 gallons.

Nice plants, bro, BUT I found 5 gal (definitely would not use in a tent) to be overkill unless I'm dealing with a 12 week sativa. But I can't argue with success. Nice work.
Yeah if your in a tent that would be overkill unless you only plan on having 2 of them in there

What do you yield from them and how long is your veg hydro or soil?

You can do Hempy 2 liters and fit 8 per 4 sq foot. Single cola from clone or 12/12 from seed...produce at least 14 grams per 2 liter...right now I am doing soil and have 13? In 6 inch pots in 5 sq foot. Looking to yield at least 7 grams from each one, sativa hybrids do best in such a system though as they explode in early flower. I like variety

All ive done so far is soil grows. veg around 25-30 days. ive gotten 2-3 oz on average from each plant but im still learning a ton and have only grown for a little over a year now. I had one of the Chupacabra in a 2 gallon pot get almost 4 oz but thats my best
