Just picked up a new 600w system, Nanolux OG series ballast with hydrofarm 6inch cooltube and a new 300CFM inline fan, got all my new ducting, replaced everything pretty much from my older magnetic system. Her time has served me well. Trying out the Solis-Tek hps bulb. Anyone ever run it? Im just curious to as if a vert set up with the tube would be better than running horizontal? I have always ran lights horiz. So fiqured i see what you other growers say.

Yes absolutely you can and it works great. Don't get caught up in the " your killing the light with the glass" bullshit either. For whatever you lose will be more than made up for by scooting the plants closer. With Barebulb vert it's so damned easy to cook your leaves if you don't keep them far enough away. Rock that cooltube man

Hell yeah, thanks for the replies. I went a hung it vert and the plants can be close like you said. about 8" away. prob could go to 6" but for now 8 will do. side branching is really loving it. Temps haven't gone over 78F so i think im dialed in. Prob do a new log once i get some new seeds. Finishing up a Magnum and Northern lights auto with a photo pineapple chunk lol
