Hey does anyone have experience using heavy harvest fall flowering blend? I put 1 cup per foot of growth as recommended by my local hydro shop guy on jul 27th, he said every 3 weeks to put more, but its been raining a fair amount and it looks likes its all been washed into the soil? would it be to soon to apply more before the end of weeks? also i have been using flora nova grow, and will be switching to flora nova bloom soon as the days are getting shorter and plants should be hitting flower soon..

I've heard good things about Heavy Harvest, but no personal experience, I admit. I think this is a great thread to start because I hate talkign about something when I don't know anything about it, aside from its reputation.

The only thing I would say is that I dont' know about mixing up nutrient brands since that tends to cause problems for me. Every time AN is out at my local hydro store, and I get something else, I end up regretting it.

I'm gonna learn a lot from this thread, I can tell....

no thanks il stick to my heavy harvest and flora nova grow/ bloom.....rather use specialized stuff made for flowering plants.. plus heavy harvest is perfect for a gurrilla such as myself... spread over top soil 1 cup per foot of growth and then leave and not have to worry for 3 weeks.. unless your adding additional stuff which i am (flora nova) i also folier feed my babies makes them ALOT fuller

dunno if i used too much or too little, i used the recommended amount though. Like i said had great veg results but the buds were not fat and there wasnt a lot of trichome production, it just seemed lacking as a bloom fert, not to mention AN has changed their heavy harvest formula almost every year, sounds like things aint right to me.

Check out Brown Dirt Warrior on YouTube. Just type that into the search bar and you'll get a ton of stuff. UrbanGrower has interviewed him and he made a ton of videos about outdoor growing. He uses HH exclusively iirc.

As far as your specific problem goes it's hard to say. It's better to err on the side of underfeeding than overfeeding, especially if you're growing in the ground where it's damn hard to flush excess fertilizer if you overfeed.

That said, it sounds like the rain might have done that for you already. I can't say for sure without looking at the plants myself, but if I was confident I'd lost some nutes I would probably try a half-strength feed and then give them a few days or a week to see how they do.

hey my grow shope gives little measuring cups with the purchase of nutes, i was told to use 1 cup per every foot of growth, just make sure you spread it evenly around and leave a little donut around the main stem, and only re aply every 3 weeks and you need 2 weeks of flushing
