hi guys was recently talking with some mates and someone suggested that towards the last 2 weeks of flower you should decrease the wattage and hours of light towards the plant as this mimics autumn ( hence the light getting weaker and light hours decreasing)
was just wondering what you lot thought and if anybody had done this...

people sometimes do this then they're crunching on a timeline and need to finish a crop before it's done.

There's a tradeoff between faster finishing time and reduced yield. I'd recommend rocking 12/12 until the end if you have the time.

just my .02

I believe that just pushes the plant along faster then is needed, as stated above. But for max yield i would keep them under as much light each day as they can take so 12 hours.

tried it on last grow to speed things up. works but less yield. so if u aint in no hurry keep em on 12/12 be worth the wait for sure
