Anyone out there using a Tesla battery (or at least solar) to power your grow rooms?

That looks fine. And shouldn't affect the fish and shit.

this is what i was thinking of. 300 homes. wow!
This one is a little more disturbing to me. But it's not a big stream, so there's probably not a ton of fish in there.

Damns have just fucked up a lot for the fish and us fishermen so I'm kinda biased.

It's not just fish. It's downstream users. There's a lot of regulations regarding water. Including making rainwater collection illegal. Not everywhere but in many places you're not allowed to stop it on it's way to the ocean and everyone between you and that delta.

Example:
Arkansas
Rainwater harvesting is allowed with some minor restrictions. The Arkansas Code Annotated Rainwater § 17-38-201 states that harvested rainwater can be used for non-potable purposes if the harvesting system is designed by a professional engineer licensed in Arkansas, is designed with appropriate cross-connection safeguards, and complies with Arkansas Plumbing Code.

Arkansas - you can water cannabis with rainwater only if you jumped through a bunch of hoops and paid through the nose

pretty good presentation. i'm in what you might call a regulated riparian state. earlier comment about micro-hydro hypothetical in a riparian state (reasonable use, economic, not wasteful, no undue harm to other riparians).

What gets me is all the damn golf courses with manmade ponds and shit in places like AZ. WTF? It's just gonna evaporate in a couple minutes anyways. CA should be pissed. Rivers like the Colorado and shit are probably dry by the time it makes it to CA.

Damns ... anyone mention earthquakes yet? There's a connection. Small leap from ev batteries. How about Hawaiians, might as well discuss how the military's failure to maintain its fuel storage tanks is going to cost taxpayers >$10B and kill a few fish for good measure.

And I recall, while living in Maryland, for a while, they were taxing you based on the amount of rain that fell on your property. That's nuts.

Let's see your grow. I see you have your profile hidden.

Really? It shouldn't be hidden. I've shown at least a handful of pics. Not quite ready for a journal. Details. Branch #s, tip #s, height, branch thickness, doesn't have to look perfect ... it's just, I want to present when the 5 or 6 strains are in the right proportion in tents and I can show what I've learned since my first pics. It's all getting more manageable, but I'm not quite there yet. I'm not treating all strains the same, but each will be consistent. Aiming for 2lbs/month avg. Then 2.25, then 2.5, etc., until I'm ready to start over with a new, larger grow. But I'm done investing, it's going to have to start paying for itself to convince me to "get more involved."

Everything from how I organize/prep nutes without reservoirs, more like lab supplies ... it's all going to make sense! hahaha It's not for everyone, but it will make sense. And if it doesn't, I'll regroup. :bigjoint::wall:

Good job. Now show us the pics of your mids.
[Deep breath and go]

It would be easier to do one strain right, but I whittled 15+ strains down to 5 or 6; and I plan to reduce it to 4, before eventually swapping 2 out for 2 new, more awesome strains (but no additions for a year+).... all planned out. Another factor is running perpetual bloom with multiple strains. Turnover is quick. After several rounds, I've decided I want to run 9 Gorilla Cookies and 2-3 each, Grape Ape and Bruce Banner, in one tent; and ~ 6-8 Taskenti in another tent. One problem is that I've still got a few plants of strains I've discontinued. So, I need them out of there. All but 2 strains are down to the selected pheno.
  • Now, I need to have enough mature clones on deck at all times to keep perpetual bloom going. Each round has to be ready. As I'm making plant size/branch/tip #s uniform across a strain, I've got to ensure each plant is mature enough to yield 2+ zips (please). That takes a lot more coordination than you might think (assuming I'm not making it overly difficult). In the meantime, I'm using leftover Green Gelato and 5 Alive in bloom to give my desired strains time to mature in veg. I'm cloning the shit out of Gorilla Cookies, I've already got plenty of Taskenti clones going. The others, I'll use fewer of -- I'm growing Bruce Banner and Grape Ape topped, but much taller because of where I designated their space in a tent. Timing includes patience, it will be worth it. Stay tuned.

  • Also, I've currently got 4 Gorilla Cookies almost midway through bloom; but it's an experiment. I'm trying to determine branch/tip #s. I think I'll end up using ~24 tips. So, if I have 6 branches, I'll let each branch have 4 tips; if 8 branches, 3 tips/branch; and 2+ tips per branch if I'm using 10. Stuff like that. I want bud size consistent, not big and small -- just about the same size.

  • Every ounce offers a gas, hash, grape, and strawberry. That's straight to start with. I'm aiming for ~10g each gas and hash, per 28. Something like that. Consistent. And I'm only adding strains if they're better than elev8's Gorilla Cookies. So far, it's my best.
