Anyone running the Cutter-COB275-35k?

Not much is known but it has more red and blue than the cree 3590 3500K. Its about $50, but its also 275W instead of 137W, if anyone had under driven them to around 100W or so I would love to see the numbers on that. that would make it around the same cost, a bit less of a spread but if it gained some LPW at being driven less than half it might be worth it.

@welight? Looking for some numbers if anyone has some. I would run it at 100W, 50W or lower depending on performance. Just looking to see if anyone has this info... currently they only have two in stock and I would get 1 per sq/ft.. the color rendering is a bit better than the cxb 3590 3500K.

Vero 29 offers 185+ Lumens per watt at 50W at only $25 per cob
Citizen offers 170 Lumens per watt at 50W for only $12 per cob

Citizen also has some other higher priced cobs that provide >170 Lumens per watt...

Why are you specifically chooseing CREE? They are overpriced. 100 Lumens per watt is terrible for LED...

You misunderstand. If the light is over 100LPW at 275W what is the increase by driving it at 50W? If it nets even a small increase compared to the others I'll be happy. That could be around 215LPW at that current... Which is better that all of the above. I don't settle for under 200lpw by much.

EDIT - my bads, I see its not even CREE your asking for...

Which Citizen is this?
Only 1825 provides more that 170 lm/W at 50W... but cost 3x12$ LOL.
