I was wondering if it would be ok to have my inline fan sit right on top of my fan?
Or if i should hang it up and use bungees? sound isnt a problem.100_1023.jpg

Its a 400 watt with i think a 160 cfm inline fan my hood has a 4" flange and it if fits prefect.

the flex duct sucks air from a carbon filter and pushes air through the light.

Thanks for any feedback

Holy shit that was a quick reply.

Thanks its not to bad sounds like a dryer tumbling around either way really. That was also my concern is that it would bounce around or cause the bulb to blow .

yeah if you have a problem with vibration then just disconnect the fan and put a flex ducting between the fan and the light. Other than that great setup! gave me an idea so thanks bro!

yea vibrations can be bad on the bulb and also loud for no reason. Using standard dryer vent ducting is ok. Its standard 4 in also. fits perfect. and cheap. Is there glass in that hood??
