Don't know the "official" RIU views on this, but I'm using molasses @1TB per all the way to harvest . . . in fact, it's all I've been givin' the beeches since about a month into flowering (after pistils showed)

I do the same I start when pistils show, but then 2 weeks before harvest I flush and thats it. I the plant to have flushed soil no nutes in it, so her last 2 weeks she is useing up all nutes and sugars (mole Asses) that she already has in her system.
I would think that molases would leave a flavor?

Maybe that'd (molasses) explain the strong "wet, drying paint" scent I'm smelling when I first pop my curing jars open? (when the buds haven't been disturbed)

I would stop molases at flushing and see if you get a better taste and smell. I would think your plant is so full of molases, that yeah your prob right (smell ). It has plenty in system still after flush that it needs to purge or use up all Goodies after flush.

have used it throughout flower, last 2 weeks, etc,etc,etc.....never seen or tasted any discernable difference in mollasses plants or non.....I see alot of threads dedicated to using it.....but i'll be damned if when all is said and grown i can tell the difference. Buuuuuuut.....thats just me.

I'm tired of mixing batches of molasses water anyway . . . and it doesn't seem to store real well in jugs. I have, however, noticed the molasses darkened the buds I'm using it on and they do seem a bit bud-dier!

You can fatten your buds by up to 20%.
If you read the ingredents in super bloom, max bloom, etc. you will see mole ass is the secret ingredent.

I try it with molasses & without molasses every grow, when viewed under a black light the buds fed molasses have a darker hue to them, they seem a bit more sticky, whwn i compare taste sometimes i think i taste a hint of xtra sweetness thats not in the non treated buds, everything i just said can be accounted for as the placebo effect since i know which bud is which, except the black light, there is no doubt that the buds DO absorb molasses.

I feed my girls molasses plus ferts right up until their very last watering, then i give them only molasses with no ferts, ive given up on flushing as i can taste no difference between flushed & non flushed buds but i can see weight differences.

BTW,love the avatar.

What type of nutes are u useing? Does your herb have a earthie flavor?
If your asking me i use Peters brand nutes, they are excellent nutes & are the exact same as Jacks classic nutes,no earthy or dirty taste at all, just clean smooth smoke with no harshness at all, burns clean too.

I didnt just decide overnight to stop flushing,i read where other accomplished growers found it to be valueless to them so i tried it on a partial harvest,no difference at all in any way except yeild, the flushed plants yeild was smaller over the non flushed plants,i attributed the lessor yeild to the plants exhausting all their resources in the final 2 weeks instead of building bigger buds.

So do you now always use molasses on all your plants/grows?
Yes,ive now started feeding them all molasses, the black light test convinced me because the difference is visable, even if im not positive i can taste it i can see it.
