Anyone Succeed with LED's?

Hey all,

Been doing a bunch of research but the threads all seem to come from 2005-2008. Haven't found much from recent months. I have 1000 red and 1000 blue bulbs. Red's in 620-630 nm and blue at 465 nm. I also have 6 4' florescent lamps, double bulbs. I have maybe 150 sq. ft. of grow space. I have roughly 40 seeds that I'd like to develop this year.

From what I've read in the past, the blues actually do a great job in the veg state but the reds don't really yield a solid flowering stage? Does anybody have any real evidence of success or failure?

Thanks!

Good LEDs will give you good results. Bad LEDs will give you bad results.
There's plenty threads and journals with great LED results.

I am guessing your LED's are less than 1 watt, so you do not have the makings for success. They might veg ok. Blackstar for your cheapest acceptable lights, HGL, GLH, Isis, Blackdog and a few others for high end lighting, and yes they get good results if you do your part.
