Anyone using one or used one? it's the C.A.P. Digilux bulb..

was wondering how it compares with the Ushio in terms of brightness and flowering spectrum.

For anyone who's used both, did you notice any difference in yield?

i am currently running a digilux 600 mh with a lumatek cranked up to super lumens so i'll tell you how it works out. So far the results look amazing. Only problem I had was to figure out the right distance because it was so hot, the plants were getting a little burned. They all look amazing though so I'd highly reccomend a digilux. Plus since it's a metal halide it can be used for all phases and it puts out more lumens than an hps/mh conversion.

also the bulb is extremely bright, enough to cover a 6x6x8 area and it seems to be amazing with the color spectrum bcuz the plants just love it.

I am currently using both the Ushio Super HPS and the Digilux. They are both on Lumatek 430 ballasts. The Ushio is on a Cooltube and the Digilux is on an Adjust-a wing reflector w/ super spreader.
IMO, the Ushio is the better lamp, even though the Digi has the better reflector and it is closer to the plants. It seems to perform better especially in veg.
