Anyone Tried the magic flight launch box vaporiser?

I spent £82 and got all this shit with it like a whip and a grinder that I don't need. I got it because it's wood and stealthy, the price range is around the iolite range and it has a lot of the same features.

Whats it like? It's my first vape so I'm excited

Its alright compared to a volcano but it definately gets the job done

It's decent for a portable...but IMO it's a piece of shit for a daily driver. SSV or Da Buddha is the way to go.

It will get the job done for sure, but there are better vapes.

Any of these vaporizers will greatly reduce the amount of unnecessary constituents being inhaled, but to do the concept of essential oil distillation properly (extracting thc and little else) you need to use a proper temperature control device to liberate the oil at its known boiling point. This is the only reason why the volcano vaporizer works the way it should. Although, if you want to diy a volcano vape from lab glass, just wiki "simple distillation". Then buy the smallest used glassware, thermometer and heating mantle necessary for smoking purposes and you just achieved the volcano vape concept ( minus the thermostat heat cutout ) in a cool ( yet fragile ) looking mad scientist aesthetic.

my friend has one of these and i used it sometimes and never seemed to like it. it didnt give you much vapor at all. and i didnt feel like i got a buzz off of it.

I have been eyeing one of those launch boxes up at the local headshop and they are only asking $79.00 with the batteries and charger which apperantly is super cheap so I am going to go and grab one now.

You Americans get all you Chinese communist made shit real cheap compared to us lol. I came on here expecting cfls to be a $20 setup for everything but even our bulbs are 20x more expensive. I did notice though that this box is only made in America so I guess we pay extra for all the importing needs

ours is coming!!!

I really like mine for portability and only problem I had was not enough battery power because I like to do like ten hits in a row.

So I went and bought some extra rechargeable batteries, (mine are Vivitar - they fit nice), and some of these bolt protectors:

Those are 1/2" bolt protectors from Crown Bolt.
I got mine at Home Depot.
Slip these protectors over your charged/discharged batteries and you can carry them in your pocket.
See the batteries are stripped of their outer covering for that unit: they will get real hot if not covered right.

Once you learn how to use the thing it is pretty cool; but it is kinda hard to get it right without someone showing you.
Basicaly though - you regulate the vapor temp with your inhalation rate.

When you buy new batteries they won't fit in the hole until you strip off the plastic covering on the outside of the battery.
Use a razor blade type tool and gently score it until you can tear it off.
Also get the 2100 batteries instead of the smaller ones.

Uhhh I'm from Canada lol and we in Canada don't need to go to China, we just go to Hongcouver.

I picked one up yesterday and it works good but it was what I expected for something more portable and is going in my tackle box for the next fishing trip.

Man... Well the ad said batteries with charger I think so hope I won't have to strip any. I'll Bear what you said about vape temp. So draw slowly for cooler vape? Oh and I got a whip with it do like a long tube I guess to take bigger hits out of? That any good?

Sorry forgot you guys use dollars too, what wasn't up to par with non portables then? The amount of vape?

Oh and I know it defeats the purpose but if youre on the last of your bud could you vape then bowl it?

And what kinda amounts do you need per hit or 5

i think theres a vid on different techniques on yt with some guy that shows how to maximize the usage of a mflb...

and it shows how someone can get really big hits off of it... providing you... push in battery for 5-10 secs then you gotta gently puff with the tips of your lips against the mouthpiece and just "nip it" while pulling in several times... etc...

then just pull in slowly and you should get a really big vape hit... well... thats what he said at least...

Hah, I read how I typed that last statement and what I mean to say is it was what I expected for a portable vaporizer. It's no volcano but worked real well for what it is. I imagine that it does not completely vape all the goodness out of the ground up buds so maybe it is possible to smoke the reminants in a pipe but that would be a desperate, last resort for me.

I stuck .3 of a gram (my bench mark qty. for testing potency) on the first run and I definitely was nice and high so as far as quantity and such, I think that will depend on what you are vaporizing and your current tolerance. Experimenting and discovery are all part of the fun though.

Could have had mine if you wanted. Load of rubbish in my opinion. Certainly it is small and functions as described, but unles you've never smoked pot before you'll be sat there for 10 minutes getting frustrated that you're not high yet. Has nothing to do with "learning" how to use it, even once you know how to hit on it, it does rather bugger all and you will have to work very hard to get high. I used mine for a few weeks and havn't used it again in over 12 months, complete waste of my time and all £104 of my money after extra batteries etc

Yeah it comes with two batteries; but if you use it a lot at work or play you might need a couple more.
You have to grind and not overfill and learn how it heats up and how regulating your draw will increase or decrease the amount of vape it makes.

No it is not a volcano; it is a pretty decent little device for the coin though. IMO

Now there is one guy over at their site that descibes how to do monster hits with it; but I never tried that.
I think he uses one battery per hit or somehting like that.
I can do ten hits easy with a fresh battery; so 2 batteries will get you through most fishing trips.

Oh yeah - the wand - I tried it and it was cooler - but I like it better hitting from the wood.
The little brush you get with it is important though - never touch that screen with anything else if possible.
It is very fine mesh and easily damaged with sharp objects.

I bought an mflb last week and I love it. Its really stealthy and hits hard. I don't know what everyone is talking about a learning curve. The first three hits I took from it put me to sleep for a while. I absolutely love this thing and will keep using it until it breaks. Then ill use the warranty and get a brand new one

To be fair it does stress the need to finely grind and that looks a lil too coarse. I have a pocket grinder that makes it near dust so I'll see if I experience the same. However you're right it can exceed the temperature of vaping but they say at normal hit rates it should remain cool enough.

fucking thing won't arrive been 3 days it's supposed to be 2-3 grrr

I got a MLFB today. Thanks to first class post recently seeming more like second, I got this nice vaporiser the day I ran outta weed. Should be getting more tomorrow but I'm quite happy with how it handled the last tiny bits of my stash. Excellent for stealth. Still kinda getting used to drawing speed. Already managed to burn the shit inside it once though like the guy in this thread mentioned lol. Dunno what happened really but I was trying to hit an already mostly-black pile so won't do that again.

Using only pure weed is so harsh to me even in vape form. When I mix tobacco in joints like most Brits/Europeans it goes down easier. Must just take getting used to. I'm pretty satisfied though. It has a nice taste too, reminds me of those oat bags you heat up in the microwave to keep you warm
