ive seen the 55W T5 bulbs for quite cheap, so what is this charging all the extra for?

is it just the brand name?

could i just get 8x 54W tubes and put them in some kind of T5 bulb holder?

thanks for any info
yea if the t5 holder has 55w ballast in them. or you can go to homedepot and get 16 28w t5's. they sell 28w t5 fixters that hold 2 bulbs each and it comes with bulbs for@$30

i am not looking at the link but i researched t5s a bit before I bot my 6 bulb for 150 and the really expensive models use a sepereate ballast for each bulb! Other cool electric things and quality that boost the power some. Youre cheapest bet is to buy a t5 hi industrial fixture from econo light or ebay then wire the plug yourseld. Not hard. paying per single bulb is 30 buck for one and that adss up to 180 for my 150 dollar light.
