Ive read somewhere that all it does is compare to a database of already aquired test results, not actually test each sample
This is correct. It "smells" the sample, and based on the thcA thcB CBD Cbn etc ratios, compares to a database of known strains, and tells you the test results of that strain. I was very disappointed when I heard this from their customer service.

Especially for the price. Glad I didn't pull the trigger and find out after the fact, ouch

Curious if anyone has firsthand experience with the mydx and the home liquid chromatography kits such as cannalytics and thctestkits.

I almost pulled the trigger on the thctestkits last week but decided to hold off.

While I don't suspect any of these are overly accurate, I see them as potential tools in selections.

I was eyeballing this thing but had reservations just on price alone. I am so glad I decided to do a quick search before making a post of my own asking about it.

**scratches sniffer off birthday present list**

Sniff!

Its bunk, Franco from GH did some tests and got different results every time, then the company did not respond to his public questions about the product.

It kind of reminds me of the issue they had in Ontario many years ago when one of the early model radar guns was tested and it clocked at tree doing 70 mph's. That was when they discovered three kinds of wood: Hardwood, softwood and fastwood, LOL
