Lucas Formula means grow, micro, bloom, calmag, h2o2. It doesnt mean the use of additives. If you use additives, then your just a hydroponic gardener, not a lucas grower, and you would just follow the nutrient schedule that the manufacturer of the nutrients prepares for you.

Skipping H2O2 is a very poor idea, to whoever mentioned it, in any hydroponic system. If your new to growing, please dont make the mistake, use H2O2, its necessary.

Skipping H2O2 is acceptable if using Aquashield though, correct?

i never said skip it.
but then again i was talking about soil

Lucas Formula is for plants in Hydro, not soil. H2O2 is required in hydro, or you will drown your plants. Dont reinvent the wheel. STick to what is known, learn to grow, THEN try experimenting.

No. Aquashield is not H2O2. h2O2 you buy at a hydro store. They ALL sell H2O2.
Correct me if I'm wrong, I'm new to Hydro, but isn't the h202 used for cleaning the root system, as well as breaking down and helping oxygenate the water? If using a dwc system sint that solved with airstones? And aquashield for the roots? I'm confused... I should lay off the Illadelph lol
