Hi.
I'm about to upgrade from my old HPS to a 600w lamp. I want to go digital.
I've seen a lot of mixed reviews on the lumateks.
I know the quantum badboy t5 fixtures are pretty cool since you can use just half of them and fold the rest.
The cheapest I could find a 600w quantum was here http://www.ezhydroshop.com/products/Quantum-600w-Dimmable-HID-Digital-Ballast.html for 162+shipping. I like the fact that I'd be able to dim it down in the summer, since my garage doesnt have AC.
Do you think this would be worth it over a cheaper magnetic ballast?
Just want some opinions on that and maybe from people who have experience with quantum ballasts
