I just made a batch last week and been keeping it in the fridge so I should be set once I get some fish.

Edit: just saw this comment from Patrick from unconventional farmer, I'll still probably make smaller batches so I can keep it relatively fresh.

Hello Lucas from Argentina! I’ll pass your thanks on to Gil – we’re the team haha.

Once fermented, you can store the fish fertilizer for ages. More than a year. I dunno how long, it is very stable though, it should store fine.

Hey Lucas I was wondering, do you know some good ways to increase our accessibility to you guys in South America? Should we have a translate button for English-Spanish-Portuguese? We get a lot of visitors from Argentina, just wondering how we can improve the experience and exposure.

Thanks!
Patrick

in the pfa group. everyone says the ferments at room temp are good for 3 months. so it may depend on storage environment. I'm sure if it goes bad you'll be able to tell by the look and smell.

No. Neptunes harvest is not organic. It has phosphoric acid in it for a preservative and ph stabilizer. If you want an organic fish hydroslate make your own. recipe is on unconventionalfarmer.com
Where did you find that info? Not doubting you but every product page I found said "organic fertilizer". I know organic means different things to different people / companies so obviously I can't just trust that. I found an OMRI pdf on the Neptunes Harvest site but it didn't list anything about phosphoric acid. Guess my grow isn't fully organic any more!! I added some NH Fish Fert to my AACT last night.
Neptune's Harvest is an OMRI listed organic fertilizer. The phosphoric acid will not fuck up your soil biology the way a chemical Fert would. It has been linked to decreases in bone density (it is every pop you drink, except root beer), but I don't know what negatives it incurs when put into your plants, when your plants are later ingested by you. By federal government standards you are still running an organic garden. Some just don't think much of the federal government's standards is all.

1. federal Govt usda standards are very loose. They use chemicals acceptable for use on organic products. 70% organic by usda standards. but still not organic.

2. Omri is complete bullshit. They get paid for certs. They don't do independent testing. The companies make their own msds sheets. Not Omri nor D.O.A.

examples- avid, pure spray green, gravity, bush master. All of which have been banned from California and Oregon . Several other synthetics have omri labels. Walk around in to your local hydro shop and you will see how many bottled synthetic nutes have omri labels

Oregon Tilth is the only true and most strict organic certification.

You didn't do anything for phosphorus? Or is your piss just full of phosphates? Lol...I've read a lot about using piss but I haven't taken that plunge yet...I eat a lot of veggies...I also eat a lot of garbage and am a frequent drinker of Mexican Coca Cola (real sugar instead of corn syrup!)...so I don't know if my piss is the best.

Good question. I drink about a gallon of water a day but was using my urine after id drank 3 cups of coffee so it was stronger than normal........but you got me scratchin my head about how i pulled off the no phosphate application. I may have forgotten honestly. I wont lie i smoke pretty regularly even at 42.

Haha totally understand...and shiiiit from what I know of getting older...you should smoke more and more the older you get! I was just curious. If you had some in your soil, and your soil biology is good, you should have enough. They say a lot of people have plenty of phosphorus in their soil but dump more on when they could just work on making their plant have better uptake. I was just curious! The bud in the pic looks proper so even if it was by accident you still did something right!
