Sure can! I do seedlings, clones and veg in a closet. 6 different strains at the moment. I dont flower in there, i could but it would limit me alot. I started with a partner so my closet was our nursery. He has a good size room we flower in and a 4x4 veg tent thats like the on deck box. Still doing that but now i have 2 small tents in my basement for flower that i use as a sort of test lab. Now anything i send over yonder will be tried tested and true before it goes over, herms out and ruins everything! Thats a different story. Point is, though i dont flower in my little closet, i do get alot out of it and if i wanted to i totally could. Im liking the way things are working now though.

My nursery. Lower area is about 2x3x4. Built a pvc frame that is secured to the trim and door casing. Layed some pieces of shelving across the top

Veg. The tape in the back shows that the tallest one in there is about 20". Built my own light that i run household cree led bulbs in. It draws about 100 watts and does a damn good job for what it is. About 60$ to build

Clones/seedlings. The upper area is lit by 2 super sprouter t5s. They are both mounted under a shelf but only over the seed tray in the back. My clone dome is using indirect light. The other half of the shelf you cant really see has a little tool rack thing and a 4" carbon filtered scrubber fan to keep the smell down. These girls stink, even in veg!

What are the measurements of the closet? By the picture I think you can grow just 1 plant in there from germ to harvest. Plants get really big and bushy during flower stage. It can be overwhelming if you have too many plants in a tight space. I would say look at quantum board LED lights. That may suit you best in a closet like that.

With a shelf in the middle you could do 2! +1 for the quantum board. Will probably replace my fabricobbled led bulb rig. For the price though, you cant touch that 10 bulb ghetto blaster! Kills it :bigjoint:

With a shelf in the middle and some LST and topping, he should be able to do 2 full grows. It also means needing 2 light setups since it's basically turning 1 grow space into 2. He's going to need double everything. Something to think about.

You need to think about ventilation. Leaving the door open is going to stank up your apartment bro. If you can get a separate door to replace it, cut a 4in hole on top for a 4in inline and about 4 4in holes for a passive intake on the bottom. You're also gonna need a carbon filter.

its kinda visa-versa. you don't need a lot of light, your biggest problem will be air.

heat too, carpet is bad especially if your upstairs, you would be amazed how much cooler an open concrete floor is.

you will want to make sure the light is sealed well too, you need dark to be dark.

actually moving air in a place like that isn't really a problem, i move air with a small fan have mounted on the hangar rod, when i initially build my closet i didn't have one at all...i used to be an outside grower, but turned to the inside instead,

sample of my closet, i can flower and veg in the same room, do 2 at a time..take a peak. Finally moved a small fact on the hangar rod, the door is a panel board i have, then i cover with a mylar sheet.

k, I'm confused. your intake fan is mounted on a hanger rod? where does it go from there?

You don't need a lot of light since the closet is pretty small. But if you do want to grow more than one plant from veg to flower then you can split the closet in half with a shelf in the middle. You just need to double everything you would need for 1 grow setup since you'll basically have 2 grow rooms. It's up to you.

My real issue is ventilation. You want to have an exhaust fan attached to a carbon scrubber blowing air outside of the grow room and you want a intake hole bringing in clean fresh air. Keeping the door open isn't the solution. That's one of the main reasons I prefer to grow with tents instead of closets.

yeah i tend to do that with my growing style

simply with a closet grow, you don't need an intake and a exhaust fan, perfect example is what cletus put up earlier, from the looks he/she has a clamp on fan just to simple move air around n the closet, his door is the covering, and this is just a guess he prolly put a towel on the bottom of the door for to keep light and air from escaping, course that's only a guess though

the way i do it, is i put a panel infront of the door covering and then i put my mylar sheet on top of it, with 2 weights holding the sheet down this way it doesn't move....

I gotcha.

supersoil in fabric container, cmh lighting, phresh carbon filter 12" 400cfm filter and phillips whisperline fan 330 cfm, circulating fan (tower style).. you might line the walls with panda film too. 1 plant (preferablly clone or DNA/reserva privada genetics).. thats my advice from a 4 year grower.. anything less you might as well spend your time working and just buy the weed

Mind if I ask which DNA/Reserva Privada strains you've run and which do you like and why?
