Aphids! Help My Girls!

Well.. I think that I found the problem...

I had yellow tears between the leaves... I was hoping it was heatstress or something... I think that today I found an aphid!

That's bad because from what I learned, they are all female, and all born prego.

The damage was mainly on one of the 5 plants. There is a little of the same looking damage on another (they are all starting to croud eachother - can't do nothing about it, I'm NOT throwing any out)

anyway, how can I get rid of these!

I noticed this problem first 1.5 weeks ago.. and look and look and never found a bug, till this morning. and.. where there is one!.... theres more!

Ladybugs are good for aphids if you want to try that...dont think it would affect your plant negatively or if so not more than aphids. Someone else can probably give you the name of a bug spray.

Little cold here for ladybugs.... :(

Me and the Mrs. are going to pull all of them out of the garden and look for bugs and kill any we see.....

I would like to spray or something too.... especially since its just about time to put them into 12/12.

for all I know... there is more in the promix (or.. rather betweend the planter and the mix)..

sorry bout the cam... all I have is a webcam.

Last night I just went through them looking for bugs and put little sticky traps in each pot. Gave them all a nice little leaf tuck. The two that look affected by whatever bug are closest to the door so I can look for bugs in the morn.. (didn't see any - also plants lights off time, I think the bugs may hide in between the promix and the pot side at night)

I didn't see bugs this morning either... and none on the traps as of yet. Also bought a few larger box style sticky traps and put them near possible entrances into the garden (not that I want to attract anything to the garden)

Here's them pics.. I've got that bug I caught stuck between pieces of clear tape. I'm going to bring it to a garden shop tomorrow and ask about it.

then just a sideview pic for fun.. (its the weakest looking one... and still looks awesome! - well... my suspected male is not so large.. and I may have a hermie.. but hope not.)

Ladybugs are best for aphids. But pyrethum works too. Youll have to find a greenhouse online that lists the products, their ingredients and what bugs they work on. Try to find a product that is good for edible items!

guys this is a no brainer..

the guy has got bugs he needs to get a bug killer...

there are plenty of organic ones on the market.

go to any hydroponics store or hobby grow store and they will have something to help you....

i had the exact same problem with spidermites and green fly

bought buzz off (from biobizz)... it contains neem oil

neem oil or anything containing neem oil is excellent. it kinda smell like tea tree oil, and is a netural disinfectant...

a few applications might be needed, spraying right up under the leaves on every plant... generally giving them a good soaking with a mister..

I didn't read through all the post's here, but if you have a way to get ladybugs, then that's your best plan of attack. I myself hate adding more chemicals to or around somthing I'll be smoking. So here is what I do in my outside gardens. Take 4 tablespoons of cayenne pepper (ground) and mix with about 3 cups of Ph balanced water. Spray plants really good. Do this once a day for several days. When aphids disappear, spray plants for several days with just plain Ph balanced water to wash away the cayenne pepper. If your plants are flowering it's best not to spray the buds, so as not to wash away your THC.

I agree with phoxhunter,my friend had two lady bugs in a very small room 3 plants and the aphids were still going nuts flying around everywhere. He got some type of neem oil he had to keep up with them spraying every 2-3 days for about 11/2 weeks, those are some BAD bugs, they eat alot, good luck.
