Frick im kinda thinking about a minor thread jack so you guys could give me an opinion on how much longer mine have. Its my first time in dirt and i dont know if i feked em up or did well, and have no idea how much longer still. Perk your scaring me a little if your planning on going straight water and they still have over three weeks left. Thats why im worried too, id like to cut the fertz down at the end and then right off but dont want to run just water for three weeks. You mind if i post a pic or two perk?
of course I don't mind man, post them and we'll have a look and chat

Day 66 into flowering, soil was dry so I gave them 10 L of plain water each. I would say the reason I am giving only plain water at this time is the fact that I am not able to properly flush them, so I am giving them 10 L of water to wash them slowly. They still have nuts in the soil and I actually have some signs of nutrient burn on the lower leaves, so I don't think I am doing any harm to them by giving them only plain water at this stage. Today they are looking well, no abnormalities seen so far.

Please excuse the Forest Gump question, but are you pH adjusting the water before you pour? I have been growing hydro and have to obsess about pH and use pH Down about every 3rd day. I just finished a grow and flushed the NL plants for 10 days with just water. It was amazing to see the plants continue to mature with nothing but water. This grow has convinced me to leave the fan leaves on the plant as they are supporting the buds' development, but the point I wanted to make was that you should be fine running straight water, if the plants can keep cranking in a hydro system without nutes, they can sure continue to develop in soil. In my case I had to add pH down every day during the flush, seems like the plants excrete something alkaline at the end or something like that, anyway my obsessing has paid off with some great looking buds. Can't wait to see how yours turn out, I have germinated a Blueberry and will be putting it into veg in a couple days with plans to clone it and grow a few because it is such a fine strain to smoke. Just hoping that my single genetic turns out well.:bigjoint:

Day 68 into flowering. All well I guess, not able to assess any changes from yesterday. Good thing is there are no new issues. So...back to the waiting game. Soil still moist, temp 15.5 C

pics pics, we want to see ninja's girls!!! :leaf:
So i figured out the problem and its my own stupidity. Im still a rookie and even though my thumbs green and my work ethic and reading is good, i still make rookie errors. Stats - 2x600 newly air cooled, 440 cfm fan w/phresh 24" filter, AN sensi a&b + calmagic, ffof soil, 5 gallon smart pots, temps up to 84, tap water ph 6 :) I.C.E. indica crystal extream from nirvana seeds.
The problem was the leaves turning all sorts of colors and dying off. I was feeding oneish gallons of water every one or two days whenever she looked thirsty or if i felt the soil and it was dry. Had her up to 11-12 hundred ppm on a feed water shedule like this FwwwFwwwF. Friend of mine came over and asked how and how much i was feeding and he got it right away. I never give it enough water that it comes out the bottom. Soo i never got any nutes out of the soil. Salt build up - lock out/nute burn. So she got flushed yesterday for the first of a few in the next week.
My buddy gave me a guess on how much longer, what do you guys think? :):):)

A little crispy or not, looking good ninja.
Thanks dude, live and learn right. I think they look pretty good for my first dirt run, hydro was so much simpler. If you can run a ppm meter your golden, no flushing, no bennies, no lock out, no plants drying out. Ill do better next time but im still happy :)

they look really great man and you have some huge buds in there! nice job! Hard to say how long until harvest. It's debatable...and you have to take in consideration many aspects. 1st and most important would be...what do you want? high or stoned ? (more blur= high; more amber=stoned effect), after you have to take the macro aspect...pistil ratio; some are saying 75% brown hairs over 25% should be the correct moment to harvest...most likely you already know all this things. Try the icy water for more frost, that might give you a bust in the harvest. So I would say you have 1-2 weeks left

Nice Ninjabowler, looks yummy I found the cheap moisture meter and lumen meter work pretty well, ph meter not so much. In soil, I saturate the medium and then let it go almost totally dry, then repeat.

Day 71 into flowering. All well, no new issues.Gave them water. So...it's settled, I've started this project on the 21st of December and it will end on the 21st of April, that's 2 weeks from today. Since I am planning to leave them for another 2 weeks, I gave them some algae juice today and I will give some more the next watering. After I'll resume the icy water regime. Temps are at 15C. Humidity at 63% ...
