APOLLO-13 SUPERSOIL 1st TIME

Had a good spring crop(Red Dragon and Querkle) and an even better summer crop (Super Lemon Haze and Querkle). There are 9 jars in my medicine cabinet(approx.1.5 oz per jar.
This gives me the opportunity to put some of the knowledge I have acquired from this site and the 9 years I have had an OMMP card. I will be doing some things for the first time.
1. Apollo-13bx grown in Supersoil
2. LST inspired by "Hobbes"
3 Selective Breeding (LOL)

I laugh because the wife says no more mail order seeds. here on the coast I have found it hard to network. I am getting close to a grower but haven't met yet. So untill the dispensary bill becomes law and they can dispense seeds, I will have to make more. I have 2 females and 1 male from a free 3 pack. Not knowing how to select the best males I have decided to select the one I have!!!
The pA-13 vegged for three weeks and topped. then vegged another week and put in 7 gallon pots at an angle and tied own over the next 2 days. they went into 12/12 on sept. 25th.

and from what i was reading what sub was talking about in the jack the ripper thread about how he selected the space queen male "space dude" instead of taking the male that shoots off and shows sexual maturity first but the ones that take longer to mature have more recessive drug traits

well this male is taking a while to bloom. Like I said he was my only choice. I will use the Q-tip method to impregnate a couple of bud sites on both plants. hopefully that will get me a good rep of the three. unless someone has a better way??

Ok this post is all over the place but I had a big report typed up andwhile I was uploading the pics my Vista POS OS decided it had the wrong perameters and wiped it out just as I was starting to cook dinner.

My lighting is a new Lumatek 1000w digital and I have it set at 750 to save electricity but still drench these honeys in light. It is starting to get real cold here at night and may not be long before I bring it into the spare bedroom. This is my winter grow area and just run one or two pots. I will have to go down to a 400 watt when I get it in there. so I will be insulating my room as much as I can so I can keep them in there. The male will come into my Bathroom at night and into the window on rainy days
I am hoping to get about 3-4 oz. of tops and a couple more to make some of that red hash that Sub talks about in his bubble tutorial. Hash is one of those things that I don't see around here much. So making my own has been the only way to indulge.

The girls are doing great stretching and putting up a bunch of bud sites. the stretch happened so fast it pulled up all my wire hooks. The canopy looks good so I will just let it go natural. It seems so strange that for the 2 months of their life i have added nothing but water. I will be adding some molasses at the next watering. I guess carbs is the one thing that Subcool has not figured out how to mix in the supersoil, yet.
the male is producing very slowly. I am hoping this is a good thing. According to sub's breeding schedule for Apollo-13 day 21 will be my target for copulation. looking at the male pods I may have to break them open.

All I can say is wow!! I have suprcropped 4 branches to keep the canopy level. I think that most of the stretch is over.
Its getting real cold here at night so the ladies are in the spare bedroom. this week I have some help to insulate and repaint my room.
The male is not yet blooming yet and sub says this is the optimum time. I will just have to wait a couple more days and give extra days to mature.
I also cracked three JTR's hope to get them going in the new and improved room

no clones this time because I need to update and repaint my room. I am just trying to see if I can get a perpetuation of the Apollo 13 seeds.
If you have a great plant you may want to take a couple clones, they do not take up much space

I grew mine in the closet & I am glad I got them & it cuts like 5 weeks off the process and once you get it set up right you can have a continuous flow of buds by staggering your plants in flowering a couple weeks out, but that's just me

Good luck on the grow I will be watching
