Hey guys, Sorry if it looks like I am flooding the forum with questions on Leds, but I need to get to the bottom of this. I am currently looking at the Apollo 4 and I need to make sure that I will not be wasting my money.

Apollo 4

From Cidly.com

They are asking 125 USD for the unit itself and $113 Postage from China to Australia
so 238 USD all up
for the unit plus postage. Would this be a good buy? $113 sounds very expensive just for postage... What do you guys think about this?

Any other useful information on this product would be great.

They are charging me $120 shipping for the apollo 8. They are built to order and you choose your own spectrum. From china. I dont think Its that bad. Im not sure if dhl determines cost by weight or dimensions. UPS goes by dimensions. If you buy more than one light it gets cheaper per item. If I got 2 apollo 8's it would be 165 shipping so $82.50 each. Evn with shipping its still cheaper.

The blackstar chrome 8 which is exactly the same as apollo 8 is 510 free shipping though. That has 60 degree lenses and mostly 630nm diodes. I'm paying $238 for apollo 8 +$120 shipping so $358 total. That's still $152 cheaper than blackstar chrome 8.

I once sold and shipped a n e-mu 49 key midi controller. From cali to colorado and it cost $60 for ground shipping at UPS and it weighed 4 lbs. It was over 2 feet long.

Also they are including a bank to bank transfer fee too. Do paypal. It might be cheaper slightly. Plus you get security with paypal. They do not accept credit cards apparently.
