My average wait for the panel to get to california has been 2 weeks from payment to door with smaller orders, large orders take like a month to come, the savings are still worth it to me.

While i agree that 4 weeks is a long time to wait for a light. keep in mind that these are being built to order. Each order is custom so they are building a unit AND shipping it to you in 4 weeks. That's not too shabby

I have 2 blackstar 240w units and one 300w chinese panel looking to buy one of these apollo units ??? do they really perform like you guys say any grow journals out there right now ..... I came from using a 600w hps to switching over to LED

Yea, we all know how much you love your vipars :). Were they custom built with your own wavelenghts? Cidly also lets one choose the cover, the front and the vent hole colours. When they manufacture the light it goes to a process they call aging. This takes some time,(day or two?? IDK) because they check that everythings ok with the light. Sure, if you order a readymade light it´ll arrive quicker, because of the above mentioned reasons and others, like if they have alot of orders to manufacture all of a sudden. I knew my light would take a while and I´m in no hurry . I´m happy!

my apollo 10 has finally left hong kong according to DHL tracking. Should arrive here on monday/tuesday, so around 3.5 weeks from ordering to delivery. Custom spectrum orders get stuck in the queue along with larger bulk orders from distributors. CIDLY are primarily an OEM, if you want to get a quality light at a massive reduction in price then I guess you just gotta suck it up and wait a few weeks for your light to arrive.

I got my Apollo 8 in about two weeks ago and I am very pleased. $367 shipped, custom spectrum, about three weeks from order to delivery (not from Cidly, but some other AliExpress vendor). The girls have been responding vigorously- very green and healthy with the flowers fattening daily. My flower tent is now strictly LED- the Apollo and a 240w (130w actual) from HTG. The Apollo tests at around 260w draw and is super bright compared to the HTG. The veg tent is cfl and I wondering if I should pick up an Apollo 4 with a veg spectrum. I haven't harvest with LED's yet, but this shit looks promising!

If this Apollo LED lamp is really great as you guys reports, why there is no any distributors reselling them in the USA market?

I have seen the same units on ebay, i cant remember if they rebranded them or if they were apollo's, but im 100 percent sure they are on ebay USA.

Peace to all and keep the happiness growing.

Never interested in any Ebay sellers right now, especially those HongKong sellers. I am doubt about their warranty. My another concern is there are too many copy Apollos, just likes Mr.Sing Lee at Cidly posts at his blog..

My girls are doing lovely under the Apollo 8. Kosher, Cotton Candy, and TransLove. The Trans is killing it! I'll take them to the end of June and I would say the Trans is on track to produce 3+ oz. Very, very funky smell. The Kosher likewise is producing a lot of fat, dense buds and should go about 2 oz. Cotton Candy smells amazing but the yield is smaller, probably because I left it in a 2 gal to finish (there is a huge difference, literally, between 2 and 3 gallon smart pots).

I'm loving the led way! My yields are much better this time than with the 250w hps/cfl's I used last round, not to mention that heat has not been an issue at all- my tent never goes over 82 degrees.

I would love to post pics, but I'm just too nervous or whatever. It feels like I'd be posting exhibit A in my future trial- no thanks. Yeah, I know, paranoia and all, but my little hobby could bring a serious penalties in my backwards ass state. It sucks, since I'm really proud of this crop and feel like it is good evidence that these led thingymanjingies work- particularly the Apollo with custom specs.

Some details on my setup- I use a 2x4x4 motherkeeper style tent for flowering, which is certainly not optimal but all I can handle in my space. Being so low decreases the footprint of the Apollo 8, so I add 4x40w 2700k cfl illuminating the corners (could add more, but doesn't seem to need it). I've got three plants, two in 3 gal- kosher and trans, one cotton candy in a 2 gal. This round I'm using fox farm nutes with beasty bloomz, cha ching, etc. Also I've been adding a little SuperThrive for kicks- seems to be doing great. In fact, the growth seems healthier than any of my previous crops- very green and vigorous. I don't know whether this is just an improvement of my techniques or the impact of the led (more likely both). In any case, the heat issue has been a piece of cake, which was the main reason I felt compelled to switch to led's.

Sorry no pics, but I rather endure the communtity's skepticism than indict myself in the war on drugz
