Apollo13bx

Started an Apollo13bx along with a few others. They are all 9 weeks old, here's the weird thing, the Apollo looks like a typical indica. Big wide leaves, short and stout. Tight internodal stacking, like I said indica. Anyone else came across this pheno? Going to be blooming soon, trying to decide if I want to take a cutting or start another Apollo to look for the pheno sub writes about. Have a few emerald triangle sour lemon ogs (supposed to be a sativa dominate og pheno? Anyone grown these out?

my apollo 13bx is total sativa dom. like Genius of old ... have you looked up what sub has written about the bx??

Have read what he wrote, didn't see anything about an indica Dom pheno. Will probably start another seed. Did your Apollo have thin leaves from the start? Nice pic by the way!

Hey smokeyjoe I grew out a 10 pack of AP13BX a year ago and found one pheno with somewhat tight nodes that I liked a lot, and it seems about 70% or so sativa dominate. subcool's description said it was 85%, but I think that is exaggerated a bit. It's high is more of a sativa one, but not like say Neville's Haze.

If I were you I'd clone every female that isn't a runt or mutie, cause with every subcool strain I have grown thus far I get quite a bit of pheno variety, and some females are super and some are crap. If you don't clone it and it happens to be a killer plant, even if it isn't as sativa dominate as you would have liked, then you might be kicking yourself later on. Good luck with the grow!

I grew out an apollo 13 BX and harvested in February. I harvested at 8 weeks when it was almost all milky, maybe 7% amber at most. I loved it! It was an awake buzzing high that gave me energy and made me move and talk fast. Great strain! Very clean head to the high as well. I loved it and can't wait to see how my seeds which were crossed with a Flav Male turn out.

Apollo BX is out of stock foreva now, does anyone know when it's back in stock at either HempDepot or the Tude?

I have the 13BX and the original 13. The BX doesn't compare to the original.

I believe it, but it could just be that you didn't get a good pheno in the pack you grew out. That is imo the problem with seed sellers, they sell you a 10 pack of a BX and know there is almost no chance of finding a female on par with the original. Unstable strains need to be sold in 30 packs only.
