Appartments

It will be very hard to find a landlord that is MMMP friendly. I would recommend keeping your grow confidential.
You must be forgetting that AnnArbor decriminalized marijuana long before the state passed the medical act in 2008. There should be NO problem finding a friendly place to live there.

inhabited by what...? transients, crunky speak-easyz and all kinds o' wildlife. things like birds, possums and wolves, no-less. think i'd chance ypsi b4 full-on (dtown) mad-max scenario. maybe there are niche neighborhoods just about anywhere. high-traffic corners w liquor stores, etc. are just asking for strange happenings.. cheap real estate like never before, pick a winner, -follow the 'rules'- and work smart..

LOL!! I agree abe. I think I would move to Baghdad before I'd consider living in Detroit!

Trust me whether you live in AnnArbor or not, no landlord will be thrilled to hear you are growing in there property. Personally I feel it is none of there business and the MMMA even states you do not have to tell your landlord.

I have personally talked to several landlords who love it. Landlords don't like people that don't pay their rent.
I think there is a good market for homes and apartments that already have grow rooms. If I had a house for sale I would add a grow room and market it nationwide.

Half of it is again the way you present yourself... if you seem like a very straight laced person on other things, and seem good at technical things, they're going to be a lot less worried.

Sounds like you are starting in ypsi and as you start harvesting better and better meds you can gradually move up like George and Weezey.

I wouldn't go to Ypsi though. I tried pretty hard to talk Belle in this place last week.

I had her thinking hard, but she just doesn't want to move back to city.
I can't imagine the thought of no house payment. lmao. Maybe next year. lol.

This is the sheet from then. They just dropped the price. Don't think I am getting it though. I am putting a bid in on another place Monday.
Here is a bad ass deal. http://www.realtor.com/realestateandhomes-detail/465-E-Grand-Blvd_Detroit_MI_48207_M39394-40696?ex=MI541140741&source=web

that may be an interesting area near landmarks, canada and water, so that alone provides merits. if you are only initially looking for a live/medG hse then i'd want to blend into the lowest crime area posse.. it sounds like you may b lookin to teach, or retail regular biz... diff thing altogether. Good luck w that place if u made a bid,,

how about the livin'/m scene up closer to 8mi? for a few more on invest u get something w the work complete, or a neighborhood, less dwn twn vibe... just a thought..

I like Palmer Park (99k) adjacent to: Sherwood Forest and Green Acres (50-100)
there's the university district, even cheaper. think I heard some mumbo jumbo about neg. mmj ordinance in Lincoln Park.
one of the probs w all of these areas, is the degree of fortification required to secure a gro, but it certainly is workable if u r there
daily.

I am bidding on a different house that I didn't show. Belle finally said she wants far east side or close to 8 mile on east side.

I have a few routes. Buy a fucked up house with cash and own it, or finance something better that is ready to go. I am putting in a few bids on cash ones, hoping to get lucky.
I should be able to take my time and have some fun.

I don't know the eastside too well.. sounds like you're already having fun. i'll share my story one day about a few bargain places, they're vacant but nice structures. only one needed a new roof in 10yrs, low prop taxes..

Hit Ypsi, skip the trailers tho. Lots of rentals. Some landlords like growers cuz they pay bills. I was looking online there are a lot of houses cheap as fuck along Michigan Ave, like Inkster just crazy cheap and you can buy many of these on land contract. Best way to go with grow and dogs, believe me. You are looking for an apartment they have 900 sq ft houses cheap. Look for one with a basement.
This area is indeed cheap to live, but crime has been on the rise big time all over pittsfield township and ypsi. This area your speaking of and Inkster as well are grimey areas.

Backyard your right, Ann Arbor is the way to go but yea they are also quite a bit more pricey up in a2.

I am playing it safe and buying in Detroit.

U.P. & Detroit.
I mentioned Ypsi & Inkster cuz you can move in a house for like $75. Of course fuckers are crazy. Ann Arbor is best, but your ass is only getting a room for a night with $75. I would never try to say, dude trailer park in yspi is better than A2. lol.

Thanks Abe. I need to get down there a check out a few things. I put in a bid, I guess the counter-offer was a no, cuz it stayed at asking price. lol. I went up $500. lol.
Don't think I am going any higher.

lmao - I don't think I've ever heard "safe" and "Detroit" in the same sentence.

Best of luck dude, I've thought about doing this myself before. Only reason I won't is because it's so empty I'd get lonely.
