Has anyone used this with success? I have to go somewhere soon and I will not be home for a few days. Please let me know any details that I may want to know or any other method that may work. (I thought about maybe making a small saran wrap green house, but dont really want to)

Well I had the same question about a week ago and I found out that most of the people that use them dont like them. Brake in hand, over water, or clog. I have heard of people using a 20 oz bottle with a small hole in it.

im guessing here but i think those work by replacing any o2 in the soil with water immediately. that would be why, i think, they would overwater the plant. cannabis roots need o2 as well as water. never used em...just guessing.

I'd suggest you just unplug your HID's and plug in a cfl or something, just enough to keep them on schedule. Water before you go and they'll still be wet when you get back.

Anything else would be taking a gamble and what's a couple days anyway...

Couple of days means like 2-5 days, could be bad for my bigger plant. Also if I used some H2O2 with the aqua globe I was thinking it would be impossible to over water my plants. I have grown plants in just water and H2O2 and they don't die or get root rot.

Well, good luck. I'm pretty sure my small plants use more water than those appear to hold in just one day, by day 5 I'd have plants dry enough to smoke.

Cheap drip system on a timer?

I was thinking of just using a water bottle with a nozzle and sticking that at an angle over the soil for a drip effect, but i need to figure out how long it will drip for. Guess that's what I'm gonna do now.
