Are boys taller than girls?

So I have this one plant that has skyrocketed above all the others. I’ve always had clones or 100% feminized seeds so no experience with dudes. This is one of three seeds one of my plants produced last season. I’ve grown some “rogue” seeds before that all came out as females. This one has me wondering as the other two of the same strain are almost half as tall. Plants are 6 weeks old and no signs of sex yet. Odds it’s a dude?

From what I’ve read yes . So they can pollinate the female , drop pollen on her . Not much self experience, I’m curious to see what happens . Are you going to just watch closely ?

I've found that males will grow taller and faster than females. Not always but usually. That's because they need to pollinate the females. Plants know what they need to do. So males will get taller and start flowering sooner than females so that when the females flower the males are dumping their spunk.

These boys had their loads ready while the females of the same strain were just starting to grow their pistil pubes.

So allow me to explain how propagation works....When you harvest seed from a cultivar or hybrid what you end up with is one or the other parent. You don't get the cultivar that you paid all that money for. Your seeds have reverted back and the dna could be one of the many plants that went into it's make up. That explains why its not like the others. It has nothing to do with its sex.
edit: Ok so maybe it does. Male plants can and do grow faster for obvious reasons but I still think the rogue plant has more parent traits than ones of the strain you harvested seeds from. Hope that makes sense.

That makes a lot of sense and it happens in nature as well. Male flowers have to be ready to spread their seed when the female flowers bloom. ...Birch trees have more male flowers than female flowers by far. The male flowers are at the ends of the branches so that the wind will blow the pollen into the tree and pollinate female flowers. Isn't nature wonderful?

For sure. I’ll just keep an eye on it and chop it if it turns out to be a dude. No point in pulling it prematurely although I’ll be shocked if it turns out to be a girl.

that's not remotely how dna works.

Here's a short read that may enlighten you. Or it may not. Up to you.
not gonna waste my time. your comment was complete gibberish. "When you harvest seed from a cultivar or hybrid what you end up with is one or the other parent." literally impossible. spend one minute googling the most basic info on genetics.

Dude you're an idiot. You can't even read...
. However, the next generation (the plants that will grow from seed produced from plants grown from “F1” seed) will contain a random mixture of genes, resulting in plants that may have a whole range of desirable and undesirable characteristics. Thus you should not save seed from F1 or hybrid plants if you want to be certain that the plants grown from that seed will be the same as their parents.

you're not making yourself look any less stupid. all plants have a random 50/50 mix of their parents' genes, f1 or otherwise. you need to stop running your mouth or you'll just sabotage everyone who takes your bs seriously.

I have an actual life. Fuckhead...you're a noobie too.. figures.
