are my buds ready? *pics*

Hello everyone, These are masterkush buds, for any of you experienced greenthumbs, can you tell if these are ready? They've been flowering under 400 watts hps for 57 days after vegging 31 days. The trichs didn't look ready under my microscope today (almost completely cloudy, a few are turning amber...5 percent amber i'd say). How long should it be before they're 75/80 percent amber?

you said some will smoke them sooner. This leaves another question for people who've grown Masterkush or strains very similar. Whats the most desirable percentage of amber? Im not looking for some specific high, I just want this to be as powerful as the stuff that hits the streets brought from holland, the shit that makes me stoned for a couple hours and im just too stoned to think about life lol, or as close to it as possible :-?.

knowm, based on what you saw, no matter what even if I pick a bud now and its a bit too early, I'll get a noteworthy high? basically something worth smoking by anyone's standards?

Either its im a noob and I can't eyeball the ripeness of buds, but can someone give me a percentage of trichromes I should aim for of amber to achieve what natmoon is talking about.

This is the fastest feedback i've got on a thread haha. I guess you gotta show pictures to be taken for real :)

Harvest some now....this will be your energetic "lets clean out the attic" high...then with the rest ,just wait until the plant is almost dead...and this will be your "watch the history channel for 12 hrs" high...thats what I do. It's nice to have 2 different highs available for different occasions....just remember to label each stash accordingly!!

Ya I dig man but my grow partner is obsessive about only the couchlock high being good, he's like "fuck the cerebral shit". I'll just probably pick the equivalent of like 1/10 or less of my yield earlier for cerebral high, I mean fuck it saves money.:blsmoke:

the heir is 40% brown on my buds
is that good for havest,
or mybe 10-14 days moor in the lamp is better..
what do you say...
( Havest too times,/ 50% and 80% Brown..)

The most precise way to know is how the trichomes look. look at the FAQ at "paulio's guide to trichromes," this is only useful if you have a 30x or more microscope. Otherwise, everyone says (meaning its true, I assume..) that the buds are at their best when the hairs are about 80% amber/brown. That's if you want a "couchlock" high
