ok so I know this is a newber question, but i need to know if node production occurs during vegetative growth only... as in flowering just stretches internodes and produces buds.. or are more nodes created in flowering as well? I should know this i mean im in to week 9 flower, but i never really paid attention... thanks

As soon as it actually starts flowering (like 2 weeks into 12/12) it no longer gets more nodes.

That is wrong as hell! That is where the bud grows from is the nodes. They almost produce them until ya chop them.

wtf :O
Are you kidding me.
This is TOTALLY wrong.
The nodes are basically where the branches meeet the stems.
When you flower for 8 weeks...that would mean that your plant is no longer growing.

Your plant starts out with 2 leaves (round)
then it gets it first set of 3;s then 5's then 7's and soemtiomes 9's and 11's but then once it starts to finish flowering these sets of leaves goes back in reverse but it never just stops until you kill the plant.

Dirtyboy is right. I've got some plants now that have been flowering for 53 days and nodes still being produced.

The more sativa is in the genes the more nodes will be produced during flowering,or if you have a really stretchy plant it will produce more nodes during flowering.

alright heres what i meant, as i do see the ig-nince in that question.. i was just wondering how they went... like, are they only produced at the most distal point on each of the branches? or can they pop up somewhere in the middle of the branch? im guessing only distally, but i dont know for sure.. thanks for all the help folkies
