Im not sure what you mean by mmj companies? Like the legal Colorado grow facilities we see on tv? I thought everything was tested there?

rec should be legal here in nevada soon too but the increase in demand will likely raise the price. of coarse everyone knows that home grown is better quality and taste than factory grown and many MMJ patients can't afford dispensary prices so they grow their own

Here it is 15 to 20 a g. 275 to 300 an ounce.

Even that is getting a hit here! $10 is going for the = So many are growing around here that poor to average shit, is all over the place.......High end, properly cured is still smacking the pants off the other shit though! I can still get 5 Ben's a zip, for a cpl of particular strains......
Those that "know" will snap up things that others haven't even heard of for boss prices..... These are the folks that laugh at WW, AK, and many well accepted strains..Cookies? WHAT A JOKE! Only from 2 places and none of that is at the tude or well used seed banks! ...Hell, I won't even look at a WW! Never really liked that. Only a few breeders on the tude even worth looking at for the most part...and Barney's ain't one of'em!
I wish I could open my shop back up in the "resort" town......No one ever complained about the price!

I don't think its really crashing i still get 2500-3k/lb in oregon from the shops but that will probably change beginning of the year when medical gets phased out so to speak

On a closely linked topic. Does anyone else find it strange that the country who dictated the war on drugs and asked, threatend and cajoled other countries to treat MJ so harshly legally, has done a complete 180 ?

I don't but honestly stuff that tests higher doesn't necessarily look better than stuff that is lower. I've seen stuff that tested out at only 18% that looks like the bomb while stuff that was much higher looked like shit. In the end its all about taste they only pay more for higher tests because its more marketable is my understanding

the price is dropping, and making REC legal in CA will make it cheaper. based on a small sample of dispensaries: they move the most product at the 5-7 dollar range. they might pick up 1 or 2 g's some nicer stuff. it kind of parallels beer and alcohol. you can buy one 20oz stone bottle, or a 12 pack of something else.
I have yet to see a up tick in price. I think the market is artificially propped on this pricing scale of 20/15/10 and lower. a lot of it has to do with your geographic location, I remember talking about the bay area compared to San Diego.(here on a RIU thread) what they sell in some VERY nice stores for 7 is 15 down here.
I got banned by weed maps, because I honestly rated facilities, every shop is a 5 star I called it out, left URL's to real spots so people could see a "real" 5 Vs's the crap we have here. there is maybe two spots in SD I would say are 4+ not a single 5 star based on my visits up north, like the bay area.
its strange market right now, I'm starting to just adjust and stay in the middle, if you make really really good flower, it gets pressed never sees a jar. so the selections of super nice flower are limited anyway. maybe that's why 7-5 dollar is so popular when there is not, a noticeable difference overall.
if it can save costs, and still keep the same margin(or better), I have absolutely no incentive to grow grommet selections.

Yea I don't really dab into the black market or w/e but with the upcoming changes to the laws in my state i might have to. As of the first of the year stores can't take medical from growers anymore only from people who pass the 1000000000 different licensing requirements and since where i live i feel its basically impossible to comply with all that i'm left with no options.

Are you sure it's the first of the year? I thought the new permits aren't being issued until 2018?
I haven't seen prices go up, but i have seen prices finally stabalize. I think it's due to allot of our counties, like mine, shutting down the outdoor grows. That major flood every year was fucking shit up big time.
