I like to pull them before the veil breaks , go for it, a dehydrator works good for drying I never noticed to much potency loss
all i have a food vaccuum sealer. think i should go purchase a dehydrater and how much do you think they run? also i wanted to get some prints off this batch, i should let at least one vveil open to be able to get a good spore print right? man the go fast all that growth in 48 hours

If ya give em a few hour the caps will start to lift and the veil will stretch and hit a point were it starts tearing that's when I find it ideal ...I dont cut I twist..and I dont take em all same time JMO......Temp has a lot to do with speed....

thanks for reply! just harvested em today. used chop sticks to twist at base of each one. for now i have sitting on my marjiuana drying rack with fan lowing over. planning on keepng there until a bit dry then into air tight container with h20 removed from epson salts covered with paper towel then boomers on paper towel. does this method sounds right, anything im doing wrong , i want to preserve for as long as possible but dont have dehydrater.
thanks!

I've had no problem laying em out on top of fridge for a couple days until crispy then into bag.....Once crispy i have had success vacuum sealing and storing in freezer ....But, you wanna make sure there is no moisture at all if there... If there's any you'll no when you thaw..:spew:
