B bhc13836 Member Nov 23, 2009 #1 i have two florecent lightbulbs. both sylvania brand the bigger one is 40 w 120v 60hz 600Ma 3000k full spectrum the other is 12/19/28w 120v 60hz 3000k but the second one.. its light comes out with a yellow/orange. like a normal lightbulb. are these alright to use?

C cruzer101 Well-Known Member Nov 23, 2009 #2 Sure, we use the 3000k primarily for flowering and the 6000k or higher for vegging the plant but either will work. The mix I use is one 3000k for every three 6500K in veg then reverse it to flower and that works great.
