Are these suckers? Should they be cut? years ago I was told they should be cut off, Please respond if you know for sure, Thanks

These will produce your next set of kolas.

It's not a Tomato plant.
Oh no! You're right I grew weed and tomatoes and that was where I got the sucker cutting idea from only been 44 years! LOL I cut most of them off the sister plant already, I suppose without room for more colas it would be OK am I right on that part? The pic is the main lined sister plant, thanks for the quick reply and the info- Doc

Haha, live and learn.
The plant you cut off the new branches will probably only have a single cola on the top.;-)

Do the bud sites develop at the nodes of the main stem? I've been following nugbuckets main-lining technique and he gets nice single colas, 4, 8, or 16 what ever the plant is trained for. This plant I cut had 20 branches, I cut 2 complete branches off and lots of those new growths between the branch and the fan leaf. Thanks again-Doc
