ARE THEY TOO CLOSE? How much will they produce?

Without breaking the stalk you could always tie them so they lean on each side of the bucket, the plants will turn up to the light.

They will grow away from each other but that is closer together than you would want if you had a choice. I'd say they will produce about 93.26 grams, but note that is with the sugar leaves.

Tie them how? What do i tie them to ? I dont want to break the stalk by bending the plant. This is my 1st grow, and i'm 14 days on 12/12. I dont want to harm them. Walk me through the "tie" procedure, if you dont mind.... Thanks bud

a five gallon bucket is not big enough for two plants. The plants will both flower ,if you take care of them, but i can guarantee you that you will have root bound problems, if i were you i would be reading up on all of the info. Regarding root bound problems, your gonna see them ....
As far as yield goes , you will have enough.

and about supporting the limbs of your plants,,,,,,take some 3 ft. Pieces of sticks or whatever you have around, i use bamboo , about 3/8" thick, shove them into your bucket around the perimeter, angled outward, then get some long pipe cleaners and use them to attach plant to framework, do not tie too tight , as you will be adjusting every week or so till harvest. Or , if you are not going to have to move the container , just tie some wires from the rim of the bucket up to the ceiling, use these as runners.
Other things you can do,since you are crowding these two into one bucket
1. I hope that you have already topped the plants
2. Cut out some of the lower branches, they will not produce much anyway. You want to concentrate on the upper branches.
Good luck.
