Are UVB bulbs useless for cannabis?

good to know,most uvb I've worked with are for extruding heat for reptiles and such,thanks for the info.

uv bulbs have a certain material that mimics the sun just like if you look into one it can blind you right off the back so dont look into them but yea the only problem is , is that you have to add spectrum and uv bulbs use the same amount of watts it say as for some bulbs they dont

I have mine on a timer 6 hr on in the middle grow day. I also have it setup so I can unplug the lights (I have three) so I can go in. I use reflectors made for uvb to max out the affect. You can get those lights on ebay for $10.00.

I only use my repti glo the last 2 weeks of my grow with my 1000 watter.See they increase resin production by stressing the plant with Uv b rays but in turn will effect overall yield because the plant focuses it's energy in increasing that gooey resin like sunscreen to protect itself instead of increasing mass.So I wait until in my case a week after 7th week explosion and then turn on 5-6 hours all the way to the end.
